This is always a good start for Yemoja because the cooldown gained from Mages Blessing will help Yemoja in the early to mid game. Obviously your first relic depends not only on the Mid Lane god but also the Jungle. For my first Relic I always get either one of these.
If you don't want to build Mages Blessing then you can rush Chronos Pendent and start Boots.
Normally you will want to finish Chronos then go into your boots. If you want to get ahead with damage then Charons Coin should be your buy. When you go back to buy it is always a good idea to refresh your Health Pots if you have the gold.
If you are up against an enemy god with heals then Divine Ruin should be your next buy, if the enemy god has no healing then you want to start Doom Orb as the mana gained helps out with Yemoja's passive and the movement speed will help her out.
Soul Reaver should always be in your Yemoja build, because of how often she will be able to cast her Bouncing Bubble and Moonstrike. Ethereal Staff is also a good pick because of the Health and the Passive. Soul Reaver should take your final open item slot and Etheral Staff should be bought after selling Mages Blessing.
Pythagorem Piece should replace boots when you buy speed pot. Not only is it a good item for Yemoja but it is also a good item to help out your team. If you started Chronos then you would want to get Charons and vice versa.
If you absolutely must build defense as the Mid lane then any of the four above items are always a good pick. Breastplate and Genji's Guard will help give Yemoja the cooldown's she needs. Lotus is always a good pick for Physical Defense and Void Stone along with the magical defense it gives you percent penetration.
Book of Thoth can help take the place of Doom Orb, Obsidian Shard combined with Charon's Coin will get you to your maximum percent pen. Spear of Desolation can give you more pen along with cooldown if you did not build Chronos, and as always Rod of Tahuti is always a great pick because of the power.
In this build I started Blessing and went Chronos and boots. Blessing was later sold for Etheral Staff and boots were sold for Charon's Coin.
In this build same as the other I went Blessing but went Charon's instead of Chronos. Blessing was sold for Chronos and boots were sold for Pythagorem Piece.
This build is for if you are taking a lot of damage from the Mid lane god. I started Blessing and Charon's into boots. Blessing was sold for Divine, and boots were sold for Soul Reaver. Obviously if you need it Divine can be purchased earlier.
This build is for if you are constantly taking a lot of damage from the enemy mid lane and the enemy jungle. Blessing was sold for Soul Reaver, and Boots were sold for Charon's Coin.
If you play Yemoja as a mid these items are a must have. Chronos gives Yemoja the cooldown her passive needs. Soul Reaver gives Yemoja the mana that her passive needs. Together Soul Reaver and Charon's Coin gets you to your maximum percent pen that is allowed.
Yemoja is one of those few gods that can be played Support, Mid, Jungle, or Solo. She is very versatile and is very capable of dealing massive amounts of damage. Obviously being a Guardian she is able to take dame but only up to a certain point, if you happen to reach that point then building defense in Mid is always allowed. Even when not building her pure damage she is able to deal massive amounts of damage.
While Yemoja can handle taking big hits from the Mid lane she is not invincible. Making sure especially early game that you have plenty of Health Pots will help you to stay in lane and keep pressure on the enemy tower. With Yemoja not using Mana she is able to stay in lane longer and hopefully you can get a good amount of tower pressure.
Once you manage to get Soul Reaver, you are able to deal much better deal damage and hopefully secure a kill. The reason Soul Reaver is such a good buy on Yemoja is because she is able to cast her first ability much quicker than your opponent. This allows her to deal as much damage as possible to the enemy team.
