Use this guide to be absolutely unkillable. You don't have to go back and heal very often, since losing some hp benefits you greatly. It'll give you an edge in xp over your enemy team.
I suggest going for an AOE team for arena. Ymir works great with Ares, Hades, Zeus, Anhur/Artemis.
Ares pulls in with 4 to hades that also does his 4 while Ymir and Zeus pop 4 as well. BOOM the whole enemy team is dead, granted they didn't all use Aegis to get out of Ares pull - in which case Hades has time to position himself to get two or three in his 4 anyway.
Start with reinforced boots and 3hp 2mana pots.
Go back when you can buy full boots and Heavenly Agility, which is a much better alternative to Sprint. It's very important for positioning for ulticombos.
This is against a balanced team. If their damage is one-sided I trust you don't follow this guide to the letter.
I usually start by getting Bulwark of Hope or Mystical Mark depending on enemy team comp.
Follow up with Banecroft's Talon since you'll have stacked some hp by now, and can stay in combat for extended periods of time without getting killed too easily. This item will make low health Ymir scary!
For the last 2 items look at the enemy team comp, are the physical damage dealers the biggest threat or is that pesky Zeus at it again? The Ankh makes autohitting squishies not entirely redundant and Stone makes going back to base with 60% hp something to avoid.
Congratulations - no one can kill you.
Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.
