This Zues build not only deals a lot of damage throughout the game, but it helps you stay alive.
Pros!
High Area Damage
Strong Early and Mid Game
Detonate!
Cons :/
Movement and CC
Ability Based
Squishy
1. Vampiric Shroud- Zeus will finish minions easily. You will be rewarded with extra health and mana to help you stay in the mid lane longer in the early game.
2. Shoes of the Magi- rush this. Zeus NEEDS movement speed.
3. Book of Thoth- important early game. Zeus needs to build stacks and mana. Will increase your damage drastically with Book of Thoth mana conversion into power.
4. Winged Blade- VERY important. Quick to build, and provides Zeus with everything he needs... Health, CC, movement speed, and attack speed.
5. Rod of Tahuti- Power, MP, AND a kick *** passive increasing magical power by 25%. Drop your vampiric shroud to build this faster.
6. Obsedian Shard- 33% Penetration.
7. Breastplate of Valor- Gives you cooldown reduction.. which you do not really need as Zeus until the end of the game. Also gives you MANA which will increase your magical power because of Book of Thoth's passive AND gives you protections obviously.
1. Chronos Pendant- besides cooldown, wont really do anything for ya. Zeus does not really need cooldown early but if you are partial to the pendant go for it.
2. Spirit Robe- Gives end of game cooldown as well. If you are getting destroyed by magical damage at the end of the game i would recommend this. Zeus usually has more problems with physical gods though.
3. Bancroft's Talon- Life steal if you want it.
4. Spear of Desolation- a pain to build in conquest matches. If you want to go for it do it. It will help Zeus reduce cooldowns if he detonates an enemy and kills them, and wants to detonate again quickly.
This build will deal more than enough damage throughout the game. It will also provide one of the slowest gods in the game with some much needed movement speed and CC. This build will keep you alive longer, and save your life more than once. I have gone 20+ and 0 in unranked with this MULTIPLE TIMES and have had a lot of success in ranked matches with this build.

A lot of people don't really check what other guides/builds are out there before they want to write their own. Given also the point that you said this was inspired by Incon, even if tweaked, it's not wholly your own...tons of people watch him, so...
If we want this site to grow and become better, don't you think we should make more of an attempt at less conflict, with more effort at quality comments, to encourage more visitors and contributors? I understand it took time to make your own build and writeup...trust me, I know the time it takes. I can also understand any frustration that comes with seeing a build that's almost the same as yours.
I don't mean this to be an offensive post to you, but to me, if it was compared to my guide, I'd just let it go.
Just me, but I'm trying to set an honest and fair example.
I check every top guide before I go out an publish my own. That way I know Im not beating a dead horse. I feel that new members should be encouraged to do the same as well.
As far as my guide being inspired, I got the idea back when incon picked up winged blade on Isis. I figured it would work on Zeus as well, tried it in jungle practice to make sure it didnt hurt his dps overall, spent 3 hours making the guide going in detail of each item, then publishing it.
It would be upsetting if all that work got overshadowed by a new 'tweaked' version in less detail.
The best outcome here would be for one of you to suggest the other additional information / formatting tips, have one guide updated with these tips, and then archive the smaller guide, so that all of the thoughts on this build were in one place.
Maybe you could incorpirate some of Ctons guide into your own to make it more detailed, credit him, and then ask him to archive his for clutters sake? Or the other way around?
The guide took me 3 hours because of the amount of BB coding, image embedding, and fact checking I did. It was also one of my first guides. If you really want to know what making a guide is like, how about you start with your own and see? Since I dont see any of yours, either that or this is your alt account...
Ahhh, didn't know exactly how that build came about, but that's a cool idea, and good of you to convert for Zeus. Perhaps this person came to the same conclusion, perhaps not.
