When I posted the Athena Guide, I read somewhere that Zilby said : I didn't post a Athena guide cuz of Setolino's guide. I said : You know what ? If one of the best guide makers of SMITEfire was scared just cuz Seto's guide was REALLY good ( Way better than mine ), I'll take that as my first challenge !
And so I did, and now I'm sitting with 30,619 views on it, my most viewed guide, followed by my Nu Wa guide, with 14k views.
I want to specially thank Zilby for /Accidentaly/ making me do a Athena guide has my first one, and I want to thank EVEYRONE from the SMITEfire community for existing and making this site everlasting. I feel like this is my home and it's where I should be. :3

Also, PS : Stuke, I miss talking to u T_T
Gratz
Omg I feel so good rn cuz Zodiac senpai noticed me XD <3
It's that "Bell tolls" wordplay. It's a hook, metaphorically speaking.
Literally like half of my guides are puns or wordplay. When you could still see all of my testing builds in that section of my items guide, almost every testing build/unpublished guide also has a punny title (I may just release these as archived guides, but there's no distinction on my profile between the two kinds so that makes it difficult).
50-100? I had like 1 to 2k on mine before publishing.
Generally I type like 80% of my guides in one go. The exception being my item guide, I think that one maybe got to ~3k views by the time I released it.
Also zilby your guide got promoted on Facebook today and probably on the twitter too so that probably grabbed some views too
And also don't forget all the views you did yourself while making the guide or visiting the guide also counts as a view (Also a good guide normally has around 50-100 views of your own before publishing it according to TT (otherwise the guide is bad)
It did? :o
And yeah my guides probably each have ~100 views each from me alone, although usually < 50 before publication.
a lot of people are here to copy a build and don't even read the guide itself.

Thanks a lot to both of you then, for helping newbies and people who want to get better at this game! \o/
NB: I think the reason why god guides are more popular than general guides is that people just think that copying a build is enough to make them "good" in the game.
Not understanding how to create synergy between items, not understanding situational items and how passives work is actually major mistakes I see in most of the games.
But seriously though, congrats on all of those views. The funny thing is, the more views and reputation one of your guides gains, the more views you get on your other guides since the popularity sort of snowballs. Tbh I don't even know why my Bellona guide HAS that many views (it's kind of obscene). I'd rather people look at my items guide which I've tried my best to promote everywhere, but that only has 1/14th the views of my Bellona guide. But comparing ANYTHING to that guide isn't really a fair measure, just hitting the 10,000 milestone is an achievement unto itself and you've done that 3 times over.
But now I'm just getting sidetracked. Keep it up man! Grab those views and keep the guides updated - that's the dream. And if you catch me online, I'm still always down to grab a game if I can (it feels like I've been solo queuing forever now, except when you or Greenevers are online :/)
