What do you guys think about we create a permanent Tier List?

It would be a tier list we would keeping updating and discussing about it, just like we already do with bran item choices guide, but this one focused in gods.

Anyone would be able to give your suggestions to which tier aech god should be and we all would be able acquire knowledge in the process.

It would be divided by conquest roles and maybe in the future we include other game modes. Also it would be a forum thread and I would update it, in the initial post.

What you guys think about?

tier lists change so much, follow spl, and don't really provide much use outside who to ban in ranked. I found that tier lists make people play gods they wouldn't have played otherwise instead of just picking the god they're better with. But it's fun to talk about and makes for discusion - go bananas lmk what's in meta!

That's a title since TT (tormentedturnip) planned his retreat from the site. It has all the functions and power of a normal mod and is pretty much given to mods who wanted to takenit easy or dissapeared.

fancy seeing you as admin! will try to pop up when I can, although it is tough to stay active when no longer playing smite anymore :( gonna see if I can update my lowkey guide, but it will require some effort to understand the new meta without playing the game.

nowadays, I spend most of my "forum time" on pokemon subreddits/discords. always fun to browse smotfire history every few years to get waves of nostalgia

We used to have one (https://www.smitefire.com/smite/forum/theory-crafting/smitefire-viability-ranking-thread-22140?page=1#comments) which was Talenhiem's pet project. We could make a new one, I even volunteer to keep it up to date if we follow Talen's scheme.

I don't trust the tier lists from here, so thats a no from me. Not like thats going to stop you though.

I don't trust because I don't remember the tier lists here being that accurate. I only trust very few tier lists anyway, but I don't just look at single one. I look at Dm's, Wlfy's, Wowy (done a recent ADC tier list), Weak3n, EmilZy, Dukesloth etc... for conquest and look at similarities between them. (out of these I trust Weak3n and Dukesloth the least). But even then I use them just a general indicator. I'd rather look at what high level ranked players/pros are banning in their ranked games and ask them why.

Because Weak3n's opinion on certain gods tends to be flawed from what I've seen. Like sometimes he doesen't give proper reasons.

I really don't think Rat was ever B in season 5. Definitely more A tier. Loki was A because he was an annoying ****bag before his nerfs.

But your tier list is not specific like the one I'm thinking to do. One tier list for each Role.

I enjoy the game, but I do take rather long breaks from it. I'll try ranked and see how it goes, but I'm not holding out much hope for getting competent teammates.

You don't have to queue by yourself unless you're playing duel.

You don't need to play ranked, just say with your experience which gods are stronger in some roles and the ones that aren't and we will discuss about it and select a tier for each one.
