Idea time :D

What if arachne's spawn egg ability was changed a bit to make her interesting...

Okay so:
Just to make her cooler...

New passive:
Everytime you cast an ability you create a spiderling that follows you and attacks the unit you are attacking.

Ability:
The slow aoe web thing is perfect.
Add an effect: when cast on area spiderlings pounce that area attacking the nearest enemy god.

Ability:
Spawn egg, nerf it a BIT then add a passive effect to it
Passive: Allows arachne to create more max. Spiderlings
Spiderlings allowed bonus: 0/0/1/2/3

Ability:
The lifesteal is perfect...

Ultimate:
I love this ulti perfect as it is

Honestly, all of this can be overcome with a good build, or a skilled player. The only thing I mind about Arachne is that she can go from 2% to 75% health from her lifesteal. (This, obviously, isn't completely factual,) But still, that shouldn't be nerfed, because, again, a good build can overcome this.

I like arachne... But compared to every other arachnid styled hero/champion from most other moba's she isn't that interesting :? Personal opinion
