Just a quick "interview" to know if you think you are toxic.

Toxic players generally are the guys that for some reason make stupid things on the match with the intention of "destroy"/make the match a hell.

For example when you get an off-meta pick like Ratatoskr solo (that isn't that off meta, but also isn't in meta). Then someone start to complain with you and this guy just throw the match, feeding, trolling, doing nothing to help...

Answering my own question, yes, sometimes. I usually play nice, independent of the team and picks, but when the match starts becoming bad, because my team are doing shi*s, prepare yourself to listen a lot of pings and "You rock!" "Cancel that" and unless the guy say sorry or start doing things right, I still doing it until the end of the match.

I'm only toxic in response to toxic players so **** off, X.

Yes, that last part is a joke, but I do respond to toxicity with my own. If someone's bad, I just ***** at my friend about it and continue with the match. ;)

No. I get frustrated, sure, but assuming that my teammates are trying their best I don't see a reason to flame them for not doing well. It happens to all of us, and you have to accept - before queueing - that there will be (many) games that will be unwinnable despite your best efforts.

If a teammate starts trolling, however, and intentionally wastes their teammates' time (especially in a game that is still winnable), I might get more upset / say something. Even then, I'd like to think there's enough human decency within me to never say anything that would get me banned, they're honestly not even worth the effort of typing at that point.

Thanks to Janitsu for the signature!

Exactly, Wayne. People need to keep things in perspective. This is a game. Yes you are spending your own time, and having someone make the quality of that time deteriorate is a pain. But unless you are pro, winning or losing isn't honestly doing much to you. And there's enough **** going on in the world that we absolutely should be able to be good people while playing a video game.

I just report the trolls after the game and move on to the next one.

Yeah, this is all we can do anyway...and of course, pray that they receive some punishment and not just a warning: "Oh, you were reported"

I pretty consistently report players that I feel deserve the report.

I pretty consistently get a confirmation notification from HR that "an action has been taken" against people I report.

Yes, they send it for everything. If they just show the message "you were reported" until a perma ban, it will show you exactly this feedback

I think you only lose goodwill if you get reported once in a while.
