Ok after one of the last updates I have been unable to use the autobuy system. I can set up builds and stuff but when I apply them it doesnt autobuy them in game. This leads to my problem is autobuy still in Smite? If so could someone please help me out here

Not in smite anymore. Hi rez removed it so people would buy items more situationally. If you play more and more you'll see the need for situational item purchasing.

they removed it 2-3 patches ago I think. And I understand why and I'm happy about it. learns people to build useful items when a team is different as normal (like a full phys or full magical team. and then you have a warrior or support building physical and magical (one is of nu use) now that they need too build they would sooner build against a full phys or magical team)

But then lower level players will build Tue stupidest build possible. I guess it'll make them learn faster, but not really...

I dislike that honestly because I am a person who would rather focus more on the task at hand rather than buying something every time I die. I mean auto-buy is still in it for me it just won't buy my custom builds.

that's what they removed. you can't use your custom build anymore with auto buy but if I'm right they putt those items you put there into the favorite tab (I think).

Still focus on the task at hand is difficult with the wrong items. That's why counterbuilding is soo hard
