Is it me or have like 80% of the people just went from the new gods back to the old ones.
When I say old gods I mean like before fenrir.

For example, Ne zha used to be spammed up the *** everyday, I actually forgot about him because I haven't been seeing him in conquest and I played smite all day yesterday thats how much I didn't see him played.

Chronos was spammed all day when he first came out, now hes died down a little. I still see him every few matches but being hes new I would have expected to see him like every conquest match.

Maybe I am getting matches without these gods are something.

But I swear I hardly ever see Ne Zha played anymore as he used to be.
Also Hun Batz died down a bit too.

Like chronos I would expect to be played way more than I see now because hes new and actually pretty good. It seems to me as if people just wanted to play him when he was new then said "okay got my fun in now back to the old gods"

Not sure about every god before Fenrir but Isis got a big nerf on the latest patch, so we probably won't be seeing her around for a few days/weeks. You can see her changes below in case anyone of you have missed it.

Dispel Magic
The slow has been reduced from 35% to 20%.

Circle of Protection
The damage reduction of the ultimate has been reduced from 30% to 15%.
The cooldown of this ability has been increased from 60s to 90s.

Hun Batz is dead for a long while. I don't see him for like... 4 days. Chronos is still around, I've been discussing with Chronos players if they want to middle lane, they usually do, so I can't really practice my mages.

And yeah, going to agree with you about Ne Zha. He is quite missing too.

I still see Eset being picked a lot.

Fenrir is just a really iffy god at times. Cripple is his biggest weakness, and if the opposing team has anyone that can utilize it ( Ares, Arachne, Poseidon), he's at a huge disadvantage. Considering two gods with Cripple are common picks in casual, this really hurts his ability to carry a team.

Athena demands a higher level of coordination and teamwork to work well, much moreso compared to tanks like Ymir and Bacchus.

Hun Batz was really just a reskin of the old Sun Wukong, and was only popular because jungling was so strong before, and now it's taken a big nerf thanks to how badly solos get punished for towerhugging. If your solo is up against two people, you had better be ganking them a lot.
Ne Zha stopped showing up for pretty much the same reason: the jungle made him OP, and that got taken away from him.

Chronos was only balanced, there was nothing really overpowered about him. Though the new Gem of Binding could lead to an increase in his usage, but that same item is also very strong on Zeus and Freya as well...
Waiting on a good new MOBA, please.

Well recently, I've been finding gods that I never liked, more and more fun. Artemis? Used to hate her, now she is probably my best AD, same with Xbalanque. Ao Kuang, is so much fun now. So for me it is just who I'm good with, but I still enjoy playing new gods.

After a god has been out for more than a week, their popularity starts to drop off, which is why you still see Chronos, but not in every match. Also, with the introduction of god mastery levels, people tend to want to grind on less popular gods to rank up their mastery level and most people are usually already done with the newer gods, so they'll select older gods to grind that mastery level with.

I don't know why but I don't like to play as new gods when they first come out simply because everyone is riding that god at the moment. I hate having a god that everyone else is using makes me feel less special and makes it seem as you are joining the crowd.

Which is why when Ne Zha first ever came out I never played him because everyone spammed him. No that nobody really picks him I started to play with him and like him.

Things change. When Hades's ultimate was recently bugged, preventing people from dashing out of it, I saw a huge influx of people playing Hades in every game. Bugs, nerfs, buffs, reworks, etc. all affect how often specific gods are chosen.

I main the hell out of Hel, but if they remove her ability to cleanse in her upcoming rework, it's very possible people will see a lot less of a certain Hel playing a billion games a day in arena.

My guess is that people gets really unhappy/unmotivated to play a new god right after it get nerfed
