Hel is a typical god that's great for public (solo queue) games. If Hel gets only half focused or half-arsed she can easily get out, heal, re-engage and rinse and repeat.

In a 5v5 game situation she's usually so-so, as mentioned before, she just melts instantly when focused and in case of a draft-pick game she usually gets countered pretty easily also.
That's just my 2 cents.

I usually get Idol of concentration, breastplate of valor, and stone of gaia for defense. While having Shoes of focus, ethereal staff, and Banecroft's Talon for magic damage.

I've survived team fights with ease with even only having half build in conquest.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat.
