It would be awesome that you could convert favor to gems, because not everyone can afford gems to buy skins and voice packs.

Not sure how I feel about this. I mean, unlike LoL, you can actually buy a lot of skins with favor which isn't too hard to come by (as long as you gawt the godpack). However, Smite has added ward skins and icons just for gem buyers which is kinda meh.

Smite still does have those "gem" weekends where you can get 100 gems or so and you can get free gems from surveys and such.

Having the conversion too low would make gems worthless and so easy to get. If this were to happen, it should be something ridiculous.

Although, personally, I wouldn't mind it to be like 10K favor->100 gems

All the things you can buy for gems are optional and visual/voicepacks.
So basically there is no need to buy those things.
Hirez wants to make money so no, horrible idea.

This 100%.

Smite isn't a free game. It's free to play, but it's far from free. HiRez needs to make their money somewhere, and that's what they do with gems.

Kind of makes me wonder why the favor skins have a gem option at all. Why don't they just make it so you can buy favor as well. And just be like 15k favor $8.50. Bam 50 cents extra from all the lazy people. :P

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods.
