I would like to clear the context:

"we don't know how many people play smite but we want more to play the game"

This statement was for all players without gender bias or anything, just to back the argument that "to discuss and analyze things we don't always need statistical facts, assumption and perception drives most arguments". There r bound to be allegations of sexism on smone who creates a thread like this by the so called nice n cosmopolitan people.fine.

I do sort of feel like people are nicer around female gamers. If someone is raging at my girlfriend feeding. We will just state that she's a girl. The guy will almost always apologize then try to give her nice advice on doing better. Maybe more females around the game would get rid of some of the toxicity? :P

Regardless of whether or not girls would make Smite more enjoyable (they wouldn't), it's always good to say you're a girl, as everyone starts treating you more nicely and helping you when you're about to die.

nice point u made..even I will do the same..its for others to comment: is their sexism involved in such a jesture? is it good or bad to remove toxicity?

Yes, there is sexism in gaming. Men almost always treat girlgamers with respect no matter what.

You know... most girl gamers. And by most I mean 80% of them. HATE it when guys just turn their faces around when they say they're a girl right after doing so bad at a game. Or anything like that.

Girl gamers nowadays are more hipster. No sexist ****. Just my opinion.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat.
