Of course. Twitch is full of them. But again, then number one rule of Twitch..

Its utter stupidity on ur part to state like this(and this is not the first occasion) in such offensive manner, ur editor status definitely questionable after this as u have not followed the whole thread and making false judgements by reading a few posts..Nobdy would like to post on this site with editorial comments like this..Do I have to defend my thread after each post even if all the context and arguments both in favor n against r out thr made by myself and different people. I said 5-20% to start with, saying that its not a fact just a perception 30-50% could be the exact figure I don't know nobody knows.

Arka, I would heavily suggest not insulting all4. He's provided so much insight and depth into the community, and if you dare say he doesn't deserve his Editor status, you are going to be in for a rude awakening. I don't have a problem with you, but be respectful to someone who has proven himself over a long amount of time.

Anyway, did we really say people treat women better in games, and not rage at them because they're girls? Isn't there a whole factor of "lol girl gamer over here" with people sniding at them for playing games?

That might just be my opinion, but I've seen it in a lot of different games, I'm surprised people would treat women better in here...there's few games that do that (WoW being one of them, play a girl toon = profit).

I have no intention ever to insult anybody, just defending on the insulting tone used against me. I never said he doesn't deserve editor status and who m I to decide on this I said its questionable n he must use right language even if in disagreement with something. I appreciate if people in the community respect him, hav no issues with that.

Anyway, while you're here, since I note that you joined about two weeks ago, I figure I'll let you know how Editor/Veteran/Moderator/Administrator works.

Mowen, the Community Administrator, awards all ranks.

Editor is the first rank to achieve, but by no means easy. You usually must have posted around a thousand times, but most have to be exceptionally in depth and thoughtful, instead of spamming posts with no merit. You have to have a positive attitude, been a valuable member of the community, and provided constructive discussion. Guide reviews, Guides, Posts, A Positive Attitude, and a generally intellectual depthness to discussion are necessary. Each rank period, 2-3 editors are chosen.

Veteran is the next step up. No real qualifications but a very long dedication to the site with few breaks, and just expanding on each point. Only one veteran is promoted each ranking period. The last one to be chosen was JararoNatsu.

Moderators, I have never ever seen chosen to be promoted to. The only moderator currently active is HiFromBuddha. I'm not a 100% sure what they can do, but they have more liberties than Editors and Veterans, who pretty much just edit god rotation and item information. I know Veterans can make homepage posts, but I'm not sure what liberties mods get.

Administrators are pretty much the people who run the site. FlashJ is known for covering the community events/giveaways, while Mowen pretty much interacts with everyone on the site, updates the site, etc. They're the only two I personally know of.

Just to give you some background on how things are chosen.

1. Is their a channel through which the suggestions out here on the site if found appropriate get communicated to Hi-rez? and wat is it?

2. What is the role of this site on the patch releases?

1) Not really. Like all Mobafire sites, this is the biggest-run guide site and community discussion board, but it's not affiliated with HiRez. Reddit is your best option for that. HiRez, however, has been known to look around the internet for common opinions, and I think Bart looks at this site specifically. But in general, no, don't expect opinions on here to CONSISTENTLY be reviewed officially.

2) A former editor/now veteran/etc runs the patch release updates usually the night of or morning after a patch note set has been released, by RazeMage. He's an amazing guy,too. Mowen will sometimes do it if RazeMage is busy.

I always try to wake up early so i can post patch notes, but most times, it's hard XD (and i never actually said i am the one that post it, it just becomes habit). I think there are 3 admin but matt never show up since June. Hey i see jhoijhoi profile.

im curios why you think bart looks at this site? i thought hirez actually did not acknolage the existence of smitefire.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat.
