While I have nothing to offer as reward, I'd like to propose a fun, non-competitive competition to see who can most thoroughly establish a new smite pantheon.

We're familiar with RazeMage's god competition, and I'd like to take that a tad further, but a little less in depth.

A general guideline:
First, Establish a Pantheon. Explain what the background is, including roots, and describe the overall god system of the pantheon. To use an example of current pantheons, you would state something like
"The Greek pantheon dates to ancient times, before the common era. It is similar to the Roman pantheon, establishing a god system on the great Mount Olympus. The head god is Zeus, with every other god being in some way reliant on him." etc etc. Just lay the foundation for the pantheon itself.

Second and lastly, state examples of gods from this mythology that would be involved. This is where RazeMage's competitions may help you. You don't have to be immensely in depth, but show your prowess and knowledge of the pantheon and how it can be applied to smite. While not completely necessary, try to include at least one god for each role, including Tank, Carry, Mage, Bruiser, and Assassin.

It's relatively straightforward, but takes a lot of concept. You don't have to post everything at once, and feel free to continually edit a post. This may flop and have no participation due to how in depth this requires someone to be, but I hope this can show the most inventive of smitefire members. I've personally judged RazeMage's god submissions, and I've seen both rework suggestions and item creations from several people on the site.
