I'm not going to complain about the matchmaking and the swiss army knife of gods, Neith. Instead, I want to rant about how Hi-Rez is ****ing with new players in such a stupid way.

Hi-Rez make the autobuy builds get sprint and meditiation (meditation is trash, sprint makes it so you can't have cc removal... only useful vs. teams with no good utility) You cannot refund these skills. You cannot turn it off after you realized they picked Ares so you can try to get Aegis. Granted, most new players don't know to get it. But what if you have a knowledgable member on your team who tells you to get it, and you can't because it was first buy without a chance to turn it off.

That's the ISSUE. What is the fix?

Either:

Don't make Ares or Hades free rotation gods (my entire team got 1v4'd by this Ares in a smurf game) or make auto buy builds better based on pro input.

Put some stuff in that will teach noobs good lessons and at least don't screw them in the ability department if you make ares one of the rotation gods.

Mark of the Vanguard is both the best and worth item for noobs.

The Good:

Saves noobs from getting demolished by running into minion waves.

The Bad:

Doesn't teach them that minions hurt by making the minions softer on them.

Of course, there are ****ing noobs in novice that never learn from their mistakes... Okay... How about you make an info screen rather than the blatantly obvious "kill der minotaur to win hurr durrr) with Remember, minions hurt. A lot!

Last mistakes Hirez have made is that removing novice. Hirez admits that their matchmaking is ****. Why should someone as a level one be put up against a lvl 30 huh?

Sounds like someone got steam rolled in a game :O

No but seriously, the auto buy/skill feature is for people learning the game and don't want to have to focus on so many things at once...

1. Leveling Skills
2. What items to buy and when
3. Keeping your lane pushed
4. When to help other lanes
5. Trying no to get roflstomped by the enemy team
6. Learning what the enemy Gods abilities are and how to avoid them
7. SOOOoooo many other things to know and learn in mobas, its't not even funny

It just one less thing to worry about by leaving the auto buy/skill feature on. People are going to learn the game in their own time, and raging that your teammates learning curve isn't as fast as yours is just bad gaming ethics.

If you're really that good at the game, keep an eye on what you teammates are buying and offer suggestions.

Also you can remove the auto buy/skill feature anytime, when you feel comfortable.

To address your fixes:

1. Changing the free rotation won't change that at some point people will face Ares or Hades while still using the auto buy/skill feature.

2. There's already a mechanic to teach noobs their lesson, which is getting owned. Also instead of ranting, suggest to teammates to turn off the auto buy/skill feature and offer help.

3. Item choice is relevant.

Instead of just ranting on the count of Hi Rez either improve your gameplay or stop playing the game. Simple as that. Thats for start.
Hi Rez is trying to make a game where mythologicall gods are involved and thats good enough + for me.
And 2nd thing I think SMITE has a great potential but everyone needs to be patient about it. It will be a great mulitplayer game thats for sure

I think there should be a video for completely new guys to mobas, if i get my new pc i'll try to make a video. Because i also hate these people.

The autobuy can also be configured to your specific build, after the last patch. But the autobuy and autoskill are there for a reason, and that's to help novice players. Most of them couldn't tell the difference between EXP buff and Gold Fury, after all. It allows them to learn what items do what and how a God is supposed to be built, albeit the premade builds are horrid.

I like the new addition, where I can set my build up for a specific God and just let autobuy do the work. I would never use it though, because my build and skills can change depending on who I'm up against in lane.

Remember, Mr. Milky, that the game is still in beta. Matchmaking still has a lot of work before it will be perfected, if it can be, and I believe that they will be trying something soon.

Noobs will be noobs, and if they can't learn what works and what doesn't then it's not your problem.

Also, I love your description of Neith. The swiss army knife of Gods... perfect. I still hate that CC-ridden (enter expletives).

Milky just quit Smite if you don't like it >.< we don't need you raging here and ****ing up the community. Btw making Ares and Hades not being able to be played as free rotation would make the game more unbalanced.

Milky does have ONE good point, though. The abilities should be refundable. If someone makes a mistake and buys the wrong ability, their game could potentially be messed up.

Other than that, I think Milky has had one too many bad games. Take a break for awhile, see how the game changes, then come back. It might turn out for the better.

Plus, the noobs will be destroyed, don't worry. I vow to destroy all noobs in the vicinity, when able.
