Chronos Pendent is somewhat good early game with the mp5 and cdr for a mid mage, but there are better items for a mage :D


and Fatalis is a bad item for a reason repeated endlessly on this site, it only gives % based increases while actual Phys power is a lot better on Carries and please just trust me and 90% or the pro players who I cast on that.

I really don't want to make an Asmoday Rage post about it XD

I use Fatalis first ONLY on Freya because her abilities are time-limited buffs, so I want to pack as much in as possible early game. With her great damage early game, it helps out a lot. Plus, once I get all of my other items, I can burst someone down with insane attack speed.

I don't know, it works for me, maybe not for most. Check my Freya guide and see for yourself.

there is something called deminishing returns which makes using all 3 even weaker.

How the hell did this deteriorate into another Fatalis argument?

Anyways, to put this whole thing to rest, let me explain the deal with Fatalis.

On paper, it looks like a decent item. It boasts the highest attack speed increase, along with movement pseed bonuses, and it comes at a cheap price.

The problem, however, is the fact that many other items also provide attack speed. The Executioner, Rage, Soul Eater, and many other good items all provide lesser amounts of attack speed, but make up for it with other useful stats. If you combine at least three of those other items, you will get the same amount of attack speed one Fatalis would get you, but you'd also get a number of other, more beneficial stats to boot!

The only way for Fatalis to ever become viable would be if it were to feature stats that could significantly improve damage output/survivability (10% movespeed isn't good enough when everyone else has Sprint)... or if attack speed got taken off of a lot of other items.
Waiting on a good new MOBA, please.

Fatalis isn't an immediate **** item anymore due to being able to walk backwards at fullspeed. This is decent for some physical ranged characters (ie: neith, artemis) who can now walk and shoot backwards without being crippled in speed. You can basic attack and keep range on melee characters. This is a situation in which the new,improved Fatalis isn't total ****.

However, I will say it again:

Just because the OP left auto-buy on, doesn't make Hi-Rez the scum of the earth. Logic?
