I believe Hi Rez aren't experienced enough to make a MOBA yet. Tribes is a fantastic FPS, Global Agenda is kinda meh, but Smite is incredibly different to what they have currently made. I believe they should stick with a more simpler type of MOBA, as well as slow down the GOd releases.

Why must everyone insult each other in this thread? I could cry... not. Anyway, I think everybody gets the point. This thread HAS been going on for quite some time now. I thought I even made a decent summary. Oh well...

As for Hi-Rez, they've done excellent work with Smite, that cannot be denied. There is a lot that they can work on, though. Balancing, bugs, etc.

lol - autobuy/level was the very first thing I turned off upon installing the game.

If you have it on, you have zero right to complain because your new and have no idea wtf your doing in the first place.

You want to complain? take a few minutes, do a little reading before you start playing, think about what you need to be doing and then jump into game.

The reason that Hi-rez gives sprint and meditation is really simple and the fact that you aren't aware of it, only shows how new YOU are.

1. New players tend to spam skills, hence meditation. They will come to break this habit, but in the meantime, they have the crutch.

2. Sprint, to run away after spamming all their skills and having no mana to defend themselves.


New players don't know which god has a stun, or a snare, when they need to be using beads / aegis, etc, because they are NEW.

Seriously, if the title of the thread wasn't enough to get the OP a ban, his sheer stupidity on the topic should be.

Ehh...I am not so sure. I do like this new style of MOBA, it's a new spin on things and attracted me back into mobas like LoL never could. As for slowing down god releases, I have to agree. They should focus on balancing and bugs and THEN work on new releases. Skins should also be a last priority thing imo.

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods.
