Guys...pretty sure I just played Hi Rez...Kelly, Dan, and Bart...

Maybe that's pretty common for everyone, but this would be my first time...

What a crazy game it was...one of the most exciting I've had in a while. Lots of back and forth, and our Thanatos was on the ball like crazy. Missed his ult maybe once.

most devs are. Even at LoL, most Riot employees are around gold. Phreak being an extraordinary exception, but yeah.

I've played with one of their tech support guys before, ironically he was G.E.B. 1 and carried his team. Pretty cool that you played with the big names though.

I find it a common misconception that devs or anyone else involved in a game have to be good at it.

Not saying that was what you intended, but I've seen many other people surprised that many of them tend to be average at the game, if that. I've even seen people criticize them for not steamrolling people in matches.

For me, personally, I just found it awesome that I was playing against them. It's nice to know they're normal gamers too, not hardcore like some of the pros.

Anyway, why should they be expected to be pro-level? They're too busy WORKING on the game rather than playing it...it's understandable =)

you had at least 2 of their streamers in your game. they play everyday for 2 hours or so on twitch

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions.
