HAHAH. Can you imagine it? Jesus? Holding Bible and casting some resurrection spells. That would be funny. His ultimate could be giant cross falling of sky dealing AOE damage. :D

dammit everybody wants jezus in the game, even all my friends irl wonna see jezus. I really don't get it, fenrir is much cooler and other gods

A) Most of the world would be butthurt and demand he be represented better.
B) People would be like, "WHY NAWT MUHAMMAD AS WELL HURR DURR"
Jihads everywhere.
C) This game is about representing deities that aren't commonly worshipped by a majority of the world any more, if you want those characters, Jesus fighting the devil or whatever, go read the Bible. There's also a comic called BibleMan or some stupid **** like that that represents that as well. Stop being dumb and demanding things people would take serious offense to. These are mythological or somewhat current deities, the only current ones I would say are 3rd world Brazil/Peru/Argentina areas that still worship Mayan stuff, and certain Hindu/Buddhist purists. This has already been addressed on the smite forums though, it's titled towards the Hindu population on the game, and how that the Hindu pantheon is seen as reincarnations of every being so no matter what you do in terms of representing a Hindu god or deity, it's still every god and deity. The Hindu argument was therefor invalidated. Also **** Jesus.

Personally I believe Hi Rez is being a little disingenuous when they say the reason they don't add deities like Jesus and Muhammad is because their mythos isn't interesting enough to make characters that would fit in Smite.

They're obviously afraid of the vast number of braindead morons out there who haven't realized that evolution has been proven and their gods have been disproven. And I'm not the least bit sorry if this offends anyone, you should be ashamed of yourself if you're offended by what I said.

The Smite team has made a statement before that they will not use any Jewish, Christian, or Islamic figures. Not only because it would be offensive to their target users but also because those figures don't have any of the epic battles / rivalries present in the figures they have been pulling from so far. So, it makes sense. Religions / mythologies that have rivalries and battles between their figures provide better content for this kind of game.

Lol...the decision to not add Jewish, Christian, and Islamic faiths seems to have caused more controversy then if they had just added Jesus or Buddha.
