Ok... with all these victims of "Cheat Engine" I have to ask... Will they ban if it's running in the background or just having it? I want to know before it's to late...

Be advised.

You get banned when Cheat Engine is running and Hirezpatcher.exe is also running. Hirezpatcher.exe keeps running even after you close Smite.exe. So make sure you shut down Hirezpatcher.exe before you start up Cheat Engine. (This is how most, if not all, people got banned).

How do you exactly close it? I can't seem to find it in task manager.

It should be under the tab processes, not under the tab tasks.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat.
