Or are regulars just quitting or what?

Every game I seem to be paired with level 10-15 players. Every game they end up feeding. Bad.

OR! If I'm lucky, the other team will be plagued by this problem and the opposite happens.

There is no way my regular Conquest ELO was bad enough to deserve these players, but now I think I've been dragged into a rut.

This game might just give me an aneurysm from the rage I've been experiencing due to playing with these inexperienced players. I'm not bashing noobs or anything, I just want a competitive game that isn't solely dependent on which team has the worst inexperienced players.

I mean I'm entering games with people who just walk to their death and are falling victim to the most easily avoided tricks/tactics in the game.

I don't remember this happening with nearly as much frequency until the past week and it just baffles me.

Anyone else experiencing this or is it just me?

PS: Sorry if this just sounds like a QQ post, but I'd really like to know if this is just me or the game.

Matchmaking isn't broken anymore. Everyone just plays PTS at the moment, so they have to match you up with those people.

Alright. I guess I didn't realize that many people were playing the PTS since the last time I tried a PTS game I couldn't be matched with anyone.

I've actually found this to be true before the PTS server came about. Matchmaking in general seems to need some tweaking, and may even get worse with the addition of 4 and 5 man teams now all in the normal queue.

Woe to the solo-queuer, for the road ahead may be more treacherous than ever before.

Idk about the matchmaking in general, but let me tell you the matchmaking in the PTS is way worse. I got teamed up with Sasic, who I recognise from watching videos. He is in Masters I.

The enemy team had, guess who, Incontinentia from Complexity.
I had pro player(s?) in my match when I haven't even mastered 12 gods, let alone play Ranked matches.

Even if you say we had people in super high ranked matches on both teams so the ELO is balanced, I still don't see how we are expected to play with such good players and enjoy ourselves and not bring the team down.

Of course, I f**ked up but thankfully didn't get bm-ed. They were going to, I think, but I didn't want to pick a fight and apologised, so they probably just let it slide.

If anyone happens to know why and if this is a problem, please do let me know, because I am still having trouble accepting that these people were actually in my match. Is it because ELO doesn't matter in the PTS and they just match us up with whoever is queueing?

Never played PTS before, but for the sake of closure for a thread that's, like, 2-3 years old, i'd say that matchmaking in PTS is not that balanced. Then again, it's not like PTS is for 'serious' or 'competitive games' or something.

Looool, thanks for replying anyway. Guess who doesn't read dates on posts.

I guessed that PTS just pairs you up with whoever, still pretty unbelievable. I donn't want to bring my team down, damn it.
