huh, so thats why I haven't seen the minions go flying!!!
So should I have V sync on or off?

These updates messed up my settings because I used to be able to play with my xbox controller I had to uncheck some of the boxes because they rechecked them, now I can't remember which things I had on or off.

You should keep it on. It really helps, it won't make your game lag more tho.

What exactly does the Vertical sync and rag doll phsycis do, no need to into super detail but do they help you at all because I can't remember if I had those boxes checked or unchecked.

And when I first started playing smite last year on the old map where the jungle was really bright and had skinny paths, my laptop had like no choppyness at all on low settings. I could even play conquest with no problem.

Then ever since like 10 updates and they brought the new conquest map in I could barely play that conquest until a few more patches where I just stopped playing conquest because the fps wasn't that great.

So then I started spamming arena, dom ect.

Now just those 4-6 week updates just murdered my arena, dom, ect to where I probably can't play it.

Eh I just woke up so I am going to get on smite later and see if 3v3 works fine or not.

Also why does arena play 2 different types of maps?

V-sync increases your framerate at the cost of lower graphical fidelity. It basically tries to match your framerate to your monitor's refresh rate.

Rag doll physics will more than likely greatly decrease your performance if you don't have a GPU with a dedicated physics chip.

Anyone else that is having trouble: I'd advise turning off DX11 if you're running it, turning off or greatly lowering your Antialiasing, and also turning off shadows or greatly reducing those.

I haven't noticed any significant FPS changes since I started playing when Chang'e was released. If anything, my FPS has gotten better. Have you tried setting the game to high priority via the Task Manager?
Also, Game Booster is pretty nice if you don't have it already.

I started playing about 2 and a half months ago. When I started. I easily ran a minimum of 45 fps. That includes on conquest or during insane team fights. Nowadays I struggle to cap at 30 fps. Yet I have adapted and managed to do well without ever passing 5. So I guess you can just give up or learn how to be a real pro and destroy enemies without the aid of no lag. :D

Like I said, they added post processing to a lot of maps and that can result in a severe FPS hit, for everyone that "just suddenly has bad FPS".

It's adjustable in the graphics settings in the game itself. Check it out and turn everything to the lowest to get the best performance.

Dude thanks. It's improved my performace alot.

This brought my Fps back up to over 60. Even during massive teamfights I am running 40+. I gave rep for this post. Thanks much. :D
