Odin was my first warrior, and I even bought him with favor before I bought the god pack. I wanted to learn how to play a more tanky character, as I had been almost exclusively playing ADC, and so I got Odin.

Honestly, I enjoy him still, but he can be a bit boring at times. However, in my opinion, he's a great one and can just wreck face. I find one of my biggest flaws in playing him is that sometimes I get too ballsy and jump in to tear **** up just because I'm playing Odin. He's also still great at setting up a deadly combo if he has someone like Vulcan, Zeus, Poseidon, etc to take advantage of his ult.

However, like a lot of people here have been saying, Odin can be a massive nuisance if he's not careful with his ult. I always try my best to make sure I have no one in the ring's radius when I drop it. For the most part, I do fine with it, but every once in a while, I can screw over a teammate, and that sucks because it makes me very hesitant on using my ult. And if I do notice I trapped a teammate in my rings that probably won't survive the full length, I have to let it down early, and that's just a waste. I've also been caught on the bad end of an Odin ult plenty of times, which caused me to get killed, and that's definitely frustrating.

So, I think he's great, but for the most part, it's usually smart to stay away from even your team's Odin if you guys aren't communicating and/or he's not a very careful one.
