Hey they better keep part of dat vision passive though, because I just noticed how good his passive is. Obviously he needs another part to his passive I was just saying his vision is quite good when going through the jungle you see everyone before they see you.

Best part is, you can hid in camps and see through the walls to jump on people.

I will take a guess and say they gave him some type of protections/power along with his vision

From what I've seen from the images and VOD.

His new Passive: When an enemy dies inside his Ring of Spears (doesn't have to be killed by Odin himself or need an assist) he gains a permanent power stack.
If he dies while in his Ring of Spears he loses that stack.

His 1 and 3 seem unchanged mechanically, though there might be stat changes.

His 2 is now a shield with a timer that explodes after the timer runs out. The power of the explosion is based on the shield's HP, and I believe they said destroying the shield before the timer hits zero negates the explosion.

His ultimate now lets allies pass through, no CC-Immunity, healing and attack-speed debuffs for enemies inside, and all AAs and Abilities now go through the spears.

A shame the CC immunity is being axed, but I think it's a fair trade off to allow allies to pass through the spears. His ult screws over teammates really bad, so this in itself is a welcome change.

EDIT: Also, from what some are saying, his 3 will be the same, except they are removing the passive HP5 and reducing the damage.

Passive: Anytime someone dies in Odin's rings, he gains a stack of a permanent passive power. If Odin dies in his ring, he loses a stack of this power.

1: Same, numbers could be tweaked.


2: A shield that detonates on a timer and deals damage in a radius. Deals damage based on the amount of health of the shield and can be detonated early.

3: No more HP5. Same slow, same ability numbers tweaked.

4: Allies can move through the spears, Odin and enemies cannot. However both enemies and allies can attack through the spears. Things like minions and abilities can also go through. Odin is no longer CC immune in the ring. Odin's buffs have changed. No more protections. Enemy healing reduction and attack speed reduction while in spears.

My thoughts.... based on that video.

I was not really liking the fact that his 3 does less damage now... BUT....

I noticed that damn 2 of his (the exploding shield) seems to do a **** load of damage.

So that might be a fair trade off.

His ult, I don't know, on one hand your team mates can get out of it but on the other hand you can be killed EASILY in it and every skill in the game goes through it and you are not CC immune.

I see his ult as actually getting him killed more often than previously used. I have a feeling people will be dying more often in his ult then before all for the benefit of having team mates being able to escape your rings.

I'm not sure HOW strong his passive is, but it sounds like he will be gaining more damage so I guess I'm not too upset up that less damage on his 3.

I think Odin is actually going to be harder to use, easier to die, but I think he is capable of doing way more damage and bursting gods down by himself.

To me, what this all comes down to is how much damage that 2 does, because it was looking as if that 2 does a **** ton of damage.

For those of you who don't know what that means, that means I can active his 2 in the jungle, jump over a wall, land on you, you will take massive damage from my leap, then my 2 will explode and deal massive damage and you will get 3d and probably die, on top of that his passive damage stacks.

So I think he will be more of a threat for any one god to try to **** with him because of his shield, if you don't take his shield down then your *** will be taking massive damage, and if you do fight his shield you have to get it down before you can even deal damage to him.

The downside is his ult takes much more skill to use and more people will being dying in his ult.


Overall, I think Odin is stronger, can burst easier, and will be a threat now, I think he will require more skill on his Ult now, it seems since he can burst much easier they had to balance it by making his ult more RISKY to use since you can die inside of it.

So overall, 1v1 I think Odin will strait up wreck people when he jumps on them even with the ult, but I think in team fights the ult may get Odin players killed since he has no protections, abilities can go through it ect.

I think Odin will wreck single targets who he jumps on alone, not sure about team fights, he will have damage but his ult may get him killed.

I guess I like the new kit simply because I like the fact that he can burst gods down easier which was a problem before. Sure Odin can get gods down on low hp but it was actually kind of annoying trying to finish them off. I think know with his 2 Odin will be able to get the kills he had trouble finishing off before. I think he will take more skill using his ult though then before, which is why I like the kit.

I would have liked a, I dunno, something like his old AoE steroid. Now That was unique.

Personally I like the shield, but I've always liked more...direct, for lack of a better word, abilities.
