Is it really a good idea to get the God pack? I see some cons here and they are:
1. You get more of a chance in an assault game to get a God that you hate/aren't good at
2. You end up thinking a lot longer in conquest games when your the last one to pick. Since you know who is who your thinking wbich God might be the best in your team.
3. You are forced to use a God in MOTDs
This is my signature. It is full of vowels and consonants.

Ok, as someone who purchased the god pack early, let start with a verdict, and give pros/cons
Yes, it's worth it.

Pros:
1. You can fit in any comp. If you're forced into tank, at least you have options. Etc etc
2. You can focus on buying skins, and getting legendary skins, than buying gods. It takes FOREVER.
3. No more deciding between which god to get.
4. Want to randomly play a god? You can. No crummy AI Bot arena.
5. Getting a god pack Chang'E, Hel, Ra, Zeus, etc in assault makes you feel amazing inside
6. It's limited time. Get it while it's available.
7. You get EVERY FUTURE GOD EVER. FOR FREE.
8. This also means you can be the first person to try a new god. If you can pick him quick enough.

Cons:
1. Assault picks can suck. I have gotten arachne SO MANY TIMES. ARGH
2. You get into the mindset of "who on earth do I even want to play"
3. MOTD feels meh. You aren't trying new things. And in the one match where it's 100k gold in arena, any god, you feel very indifferent. BUT THAT LEAVES
Pro 9) You can skip matches of the day if you simply don't like them. YOU AREN'T FORCED TO GET A WIN FOR FAVOR FOR A NEW GOD. SKIP IT IF YOU HATE IT.

Well then, let me give you the Pros:

1. No need to earn favor solely for Gods, because you get all that do exist and will exist!
2. Favor can be spent on skins.
3. Automatic entry to Ranked at level 30 (due to having 12 or more Gods)

To make a rebuttal:

1. A better chance to learn a new God. I have played a God that I sucked at in Assault and learned that I liked playing them.
2. Generally speaking, you should have an idea of which Gods you want to play. I practice against the AI Ra before playing a God in Conquest.
3. That... doesn't make any sense. MOTD usually has a select few Gods to be used anyway.

I bought it the first day I started playing, when only the first 30 Gods were entitled to the Pack, and I have not regretted buying it even once.

I bought the god pack immediately, and my god is it great.

In all honesty, the favour gains in Smite are quite low, and since time is invaluable, simply paying $10 (I believe was $10 when I got it, not sure about now) is well worth it.

Myself providing counterarguments to your post would be superfluous considering how Jararo pretty much covers what I believe.

3. You can't choose any other God's in MOTD!!!

i don't understand what you mean? all motd matches that include specific gods open those gods up for that match even if you don't have him unlocked.

why would you not be able to choose other gods in motd? if you have all gods then you can pick every god in all game modes. you won't have to grind favor just to try a new god. you can play new gods on the first day. and you can join ranked imidiatly.

you get only benifit from buying the god pack. it it won't be around for ever so get to it.

Another thing to consider is the overall price of each god compared to the God Pack, each god would cost roughly £2.50 if bought separately, whereas if you bought the God Pack which would mean you bought all 40-ish gods for around 50p each. So you would save a lot of money if the Pack is bought, and you will get all future gods for free ;)

@All4Games, he means the god pack is useless in MotD since you already are given a set god pool.
