I found out about this site by googling "smite guides" when I started Smite about 4 months ago.
Then eventually decided I really like the community and made my account. Been here ever since. xD

I dont know when i joined i just remember that i was surfing this site for guides before i played smite since it was closed beta back then. I just liked the community and stayed :P

A friend told me about this site, he was checking the guides here for a while. He said the guides here are very detailed, providing gameplay tips as well as builds, so I came here, checked the guides for a while and introduced myself after a week or so (6 months minus one day ago).

I thought it was for newbies, not for people that has over 90 posts. k

But anywho, I'll join this thing. I found SmiteFire right BEFORE getting invited for the beta. I wanted to learn more about the game, and stuff. Those guides helped me a lot. But I never really cared to get into this.

Now I'm here.

Well, according to my profile, I made an actual account on these forums back in September, so I guess I qualify for that 6 month mark.

Anyway, when I was finally able to start playing Smite (after finally getting my desktop fixed after months of it being screwed), I wanted to look up some guides on how to build up certain gods and ended up finding this site. After a couple months of using this site to help me out, I decided to finally join the forums, and here I am now.

Played LoL, and was on Mobafire a lot. Got into Smite. Looked for some official forums, because I would often talk on the official LoL forum's General Discussion. Eventually ended up here, because HiRez doesn't have forums.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.
