So, SWC is around the corner, and with the end of SWC (January 11) starts season 2 of Smite. We already know that there is new Conquest map coming, although there is no information about is it a cosmetic change, or the change of the whole map. Also I read somewhere that new items will be coming in season 2, and new pantheon.

I decided to make this thread just to discuss season 2, write our wishes and predictions.
For example my wishes for season 2 are :
1) Some big map/game mode changes
2) New items
3) Improvements in optimization. So I can at last get rid of those "Frame Drops"

About the new pantheon. IMO it will be Shinto or Celtic, because they are the most asked for. Although there is still no info about it

Domination back.
Less influence from Reddit when it comes to balancing.
New items. Lots.
New conq map should revamp the whole meta.
More healers.

Uhm, those guys ask for nerfs on ANYTHING. Nerf Kali, nerf Serqet, nerf Nemesis, hell, I've seen 2 threads yesterday asking for a nerf on ALL ASSASSINS. Everything is op to Reddit and must be nerfed.

Yeah, no...

More healers? This would be the downfall of smite. Since there isn't any antihel except Weakening and Oiris ult (I don't count stuff like Sobeks cone..)
Heals are pretty OP at the moment in my opinion and only a few items can counter them which mostly don't find place in a regular build and don't have enough influence. So please Anti-heal before heal!!!

New meta + new items is my main wish. And more tanks ;)

Shinto would be my guess, since they did say it was the single most requested. On the other hand since it's Hi-Rez that probably means that Shinto will never be added and that we'll get Aztec instead and they'll pull another Greek-Roman waste of effort.

Personally I'm sure of a new pantheon coming. I had a similar discussion in this thread and I reallllly want a Babylonian pantheon. If not, Celtic. But UGHGHGHGHG Babylonian pantheon would make my year.

I don't want a Shinto pantheon because the gods are so scattered, there's so many, and hard names. Pretty much like the Hindu pantheon. I don't have a trouble with the names but gods like Vamana and Bakasura I've never heard of until this game (vamana looked a little familiar but didn't really ring a bell) and I follow the religion pretty closely. Asked my cousins in India rn if they've heard of them never heard of Vamana and vaguely heard of Bakasura. Other gods are pretty mainstream tho. On a side note ***bha and Baka weren't gods, they were rakshashas (demons).

I actually wouldn't mind Hawaiian gods either. It's pretty structural and I like 'em. Now that I go over these different religions, I'd say the most probably religion which would be implemented would be Hawaiian or Celtic (I don't want to say Shinto :P). There's just so many better options IMO.

I want:
  • Babylonian Pantheon
  • New build changing items
  • Good map changes (these are confirmed, just good though)
  • Better UI
  • New NA launcher to match Chinese/LAM launchers

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods.
