I'm gonna toss random stuff in the air. People can try if interested. These are just quick little ideas.

Guan Yu: Jungler.
Why? Clear + sustain + strong post-six gank + tank/bruiser jungler.
His ganks with his ult is actually surprisingly decent - the ult alone does a **** ton of damage, and can be used to chase and initiate. You could use it after they pop their escapes, for instance, and unlike most ults, it can't really be bead'd reliably.
Build: Warrior Tabi + pretty much any combination of items.

Anubis: Bruiser.
Why? Squishy + close-range + high base damage + overkill.
You can do as much damage as other mages with far less actual damage items because not only your base damages, but your insane scalings. In teamfights, you become a tank that is also a damage threat, in theory.
Build: CDR boots + Valor + MR item + damage items and tank items.
To be clear, by "MR item," I don't mean Void Stone, I mean an actual tank item like...wow, there are not a lot of good MR items, but you get my point.
In theory, lifesteal is completely worthless except for in-lane sustain, which plenty of mages surive without, because +33% scalings turns 12% into 16%, whoop de derring do.
More testing needed on what exactly to build.

Guan jungle is a lot of fun! His clear is good being able to rotate a lane help to clear wave and heal your wave and the god in that lane is really helpful.

His only problem is ganks against gods with leaps, but against gods without leaps his 3 with some damage from your teammate just shreds through ppl. Really good vs tanky solo laners and supports.

I like to go warrior tabi and Mystical then just w/e I feel like. Crit is fun, qin's is fun, CDR I'd fun even just tanky is fun.

But I would not pick it for a serious game though. :p

It is kind of like chaac jungle.

I'm not quite sure about this bruiser Anubis.

Your tankiness would only come from items.
Since he doesn't have any escape and is an easy target, you would need 2 PR and 2 MR items to survive.
You may be more resistant, but you will still remain too squishy in my opinion.

Also, can you explain what you mean by this :

Anubis passive gives him up to 99% additional lifesteal scaling, bringing 12% to 24%.
Still meh, but with a better lifesteal item, like Pythagorem's Piece, it's a 50% lifesteal, not bad.

If you built Hide of the Urchin and maybe one or two more tank items, you'd still have room for CDR boots, Spear of the Magus and Rod of Tahuti or Soul Reaver (if you only do one you can grab Pythagorem's Piece which would give you pretty good regen in a teamfight).

Maybe something like Shoes of Focus + Hide of the Urchin + Pythagorem's Piece + Spear of the Magus + Spirit Robe + Rod of Tahuti (although that build doesn't have that much health, it does have full CDR and lifesteal, could also swap out Spirit Robe for magi's blessing).

Or perhaps Shoes of Focus + Hide of the Urchin + Midgardian Mail + Pestilence + Spear of the Magus + Soul Reaver (no lifesteal, less power, but a lot more protection and health).

*facepalm*

Go into a practice game. Unless they changed him, Anubis' lifesteal only gets amplified by 33% when he gets one stack and no more, same with that CC reduction.

Otherwise, Anubis would be practically CC immune with 90% CC reduction and able to heal his entire health off of one minion wave with 36% lifesteal with Bancroft's Talon.

The only games I've played with these are...zero, because I can never get the role I want. -_-

Did I miss the CDR cap getting lowered to 30% as I still remember it being 40%

I'll be honest, I didn't test it myself, and I'm not home, so I cannot do it yet.

But I just rely on the description of Anubis passive Sorrow.

Quoted:
In addition, Sorrow grants Anubis an additional 30% reduction to all crowd control duration.

This does not mention it is for each stack ... it is always on, either you have 0, 1 or 3 stacks.

Quoted:
Magical lifesteal scaling per Tick : +33%

Which is kinda what it means ... it's per tick :
So, with Bancroft's Talon
0 tick - 0% more - 12%
1 tick - 33% more - 16%
2 ticks - 66% more - 20%
3 ticks - 99% more - 24%

I'll do the tests tonight and see if that is what really happens.
If not, then the text description is really misleading.

Also, please note that said 99% additional scaling, which means pratically double the lifesteal from items after 3 stacks. I never said a 200% or triple lifesteal.

To Devampi

From what Zilby wrote, only this build has full CDR.
Quoted:
Maybe something like Shoes of Focus + Hide of the Urchin + Pythagorem's Piece + Spear of the Magus + Spirit Robe + Rod of Tahuti (although that build doesn't have that much health, it does have full CDR and lifesteal, could also swap out Spirit Robe for Magi's Blessing).

15 - Shoes of Focus
10 - Pythagorem's Piece
15 - Spirit Robe
