Not sure if it's in the right thread lol, probably not but anyway,

for all our frequent guidemakers out there (lookin at you Green and Jorden), what makes it so much fun?

I just like the feeling of good comments :3
I also just love the feeling when something turns out like you wanted it to (damn you columns!) and you think it looks epic.

I like doing it just so that way I can help out others, really.

But for some of my guides (Streamer guide) I did it to make people laugh.

I like to share my knowledge and experience with other people. Also you get a nice feel when the hard werk you put in a bunch of text and code is renowned as the top rated guide for such and such. My thots are for everyjuan!

I also want to mention I take a long tiem to write guides. I love doing it as a past time while listening to music and thinking if layouts. Even if a guide takes me 3 months which could've taken me a week, I don't mind, I like perfection (ra gide on the way folks)

Also I think it was Jordenito who first got me putting the tiem into writing a good guide and I actually started on this site reviewing gides. So ya ya that's what it is.



Spoila- mid lane gide, gamemode gide, and agni gide ontheway never anytime soon lmao still werkin on my current two gides

And btw, you're working on 3 guides at a time?
I just started working on one and maybe start another one but geez, 3 guides?
That'll take like 6 months lol.

I like/liked doing it because I can learn more about the game without playing, just by thinking about different play styles, builds, skill usage etc. etc. and just putting all your thoughts down.

Sadly I do not have much time for that anymore :(

And it is always nice if ppl can get something out of it as well.

But I've mostly just done it for myself :P

Idea:


We should make a contest, everyone who wants to join gets a random god (there are different random god generators on the interweb). Then you get x amount of time (1 day, 30 min, 0 min W/E) to prepare (do research, play the god etc.) and then everyone gets like 30-60 min to make the guide. No copy past BB-coding allowed :p

The random thingy I posted does not have all the gods, but we could just use a random number generator from 1-56/57 (Can't remember if I have mastered the new pooper).

I haven't started the Agni one. I may or may not do it, but the other two are a yes.
