The reason i play smite is that it doesnt have pve content.(rare these days) Over the world of gamers theres a really high popularity in Pve. In example you can take WoW as you mentioned, about 70 procent of the players are mostly dedicated to the pve content.And finally i agree with your statement that when adding pve it would make god's unbalanced when it comes to pvp, ive seen it on many mmorpg.

Guys this isn't an mmorpg...how exactly would they balance this around pve content? There is none, unless you're talking about AI bots.
Which is there just to help us.
There's no downside to having bots - it helps people practice before going into normals and frustrating allies. Literally ZERO downside. It's still a pvp and would be balanced as such (Dota, LoL, etc are never balanced around their bot modes).
We gotta use a little logic guys. The only reason it's not good, is as I said, it's hard to code, especially for a company in beta. But it'll get there eventually.

Its like what happens in chess, its always meant to be played PvP, the moment brilliant AI comes in , the human aspect gets lost(ask Gary Kasparov!). In smite, bots are meant to just practice ur skills and hirez has improved their AI a lot since inception and they would continue to do so.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions.
