This is a random idea I had, but what if we created one big thread and filled it with suggested Deities from different pantheons?

Basically this thread would contain random Deities from different pantheons with descriptions of what they preside over posted by forum members, and would be used as a kind of Suggestion Box for people who have ideas for god abilities and things of that nature but weren't able to find a god that would fit their ideas.

Sorry for the run-on sentence, but what do you think of this?

Good idea. I've been struggling to make a god with a luck mechanic.

I know there are seven Shinto lucky gods, but they don't seem to particularly pertain to luck itself so much as good luck.

1.Hotei, the fat and happy god of abundance and good health
2.Jurōjin, god of long life
3.***urokuju, god of happiness, wealth and longevity
4.Bishamonten, god of warriors
5.Benzaiten (Benten-sama), goddess of knowledge, art and beauty, especially music
6.Daikokuten (Daikoku), god of wealth, commerce and trade. Ebisu and Daikoku are often paired and represented as carvings or masks on the walls of small retail shops
7.Ebisu, god of fishers or merchants

There is also:
Fortuna (Latin: Fortūna, equivalent to the Greek goddess Tyche) was the goddess of fortune and personification of luck in Roman religion.

In Greek mythology, Caerus or Kaerus (Greek: Καιρός, Kairos) was the personification of opportunity, luck and favorable moments. Roman equivalent was Tempus or Occasio.

Bear in mind that most of this was a quick search and from Wikipedia, though I did confirm with other sites. (I was looking up Shinto gods and tried to make a concept of a fishing-pole using god by using Ebisu. Did not work out.)
