Morpheus was the leader of the Oneiroi, the gods or spirits of dreams. He manifested himself in the dreams of kings and rulers in the likeness of men as a messenger of the gods.

Morpheus was probably equated with the Dream-Spirit which Zeus sent to visit Agamemnon in the Iliad.

What this god would do: Simple, he would use the skills/passives of the gods on the enemy team, for example, if he's facing Xbalanqu, Ares, Poseidon, Fenrir, and Chronos, he would get a random 1, 2, 3, 4, and passive from each one, to prevent this character from being OP, he would only be able to get one of each, meaning he wouldn't be able to have No Escape, and Release the Kraken. No matter what the skill, if it does damage, it will do physical/magical, depending on what damage type Morpheus would be.

...this sounds like the worst designed god, ever.

That sounded harsh, but here are the reasons why.

1: Luck-dependent. No one likes to play a roulette game with effectiveness at this scale.

2: Items. Depending on his moveset, he would have to go with magical or physical power - and if he's saddled with a moveset that makes his ultimate contradictory, then he'll be screwed over.

3: Un-fun. Yeah, you might have fun games where you get Isis' spirit ball, Pos' whirlpool, Ra's Laser beans and Hel's transform, but most of the time, you'll be stuck with conflicting and useless moves for 20-40 minutes.

Gottaagree with sub on this one. On paper it sounds like fun, trust me it does, but you could get some really bad draws or really good things out of it. And bumping isn't necessarily against the rules (don't know that for sure) but it is frowned upon and annoys me especially.

It would make sense to make the god exclusively magic or physical, that way there wouldn't be any contradiction in the skills.

A spell steal mechanic can definitely work in a MOBA (see Rubick from DotA), but I honestly think that basing a whole kit off this wouldn't be a wise move, and wouldn't be viable either. Morpheus definitely does have some potential for an interesting kit though.
