Intentional. I want his main focus to be physical power, but I don't want utility abilities to scale with it. I put low magical scaling on two of his utility abilities to ensure that they remain utility. In the end, physical Charon will be far superior to magical Charon, and I feel like these scalings won;t affect how he is built much.

Hmmm, well I feel if this was implemented en a physical and magical power item needs to be added, because otherwise you would kind of be forced to build physical, making his abilities that scale off of magical power have 0 scaling, because you don't earn magical power per level.

Nope. I made the scalings so low that it's not even worth building magical power on him. The idea is to make them simply be the base stats and not scale. I feel like they would be too strong if they were to scale of physical power, so I just tack on a magical scaling to make it have some sort of scaling.

ok, I would change the 3 to physical but lower the CC amount, because it's currently a really spammable version of Fen's ult. the 2 just shouldn't have scaling, because good god if you build magical.

Right, I should've wrote the cooldown for that ability. It has a 26 second cooldown. Do note that it hits creeps, and the range is shorter than Hercules' Driving Strike.

If you build magical, the only thing you have going for you is a shield. It's a 40% scaling. If you build 400 magical power, then you'll only have a shield of 430 damage. Either way, a physical bruiser build is far superior to a magical build, as with magical, all you have is a shield which isn't even that strong. You seem to be overestimating the power of the shield.

Please, I insist that I know what I'm doing when I'm putting magical scalings on his utility abilities.

I don't know, scaling on an ability that obsorbs damage is kinda crazy. The 3 is fine though, in that case. I just think that the 2 doesn't really need scaling, especially at 40% as you can tank basically any attack at full level of it, and don't even get me started if you nuke it early.

It's 40% scaling on a god who's not even meant to be built physical. Why would you focus on a shield that has a rather low scaling when you have a spammable ability that scale 110% of your total physical power and an AoE teamfight ultimate that scales off 90% of your physical power?

Also, there are currently no gods with a shield in Smite (from memory), so this would be quite new. Also, scaling on shields has been used in other MOBAs. Check LoL for example. Every shield scales in that game, whether it is AP or Bonus health.

EDIT: Doing the math to see if a scaling of 10% of bonus health would be better. It would actually give an incentive to build him bruiser as opposed to a glass cannon.

yeah, that would be better. Heck, you could just make it so that it absorbs purely based off of health percentage, and said percentage scales with every level you put into it.

Hmm, I suppose it is. There isn;t really any other benefit that I can really think of, so I'll just simply stick with this. There's no real problem with having two similar abilities. Also, my passive does introduce a collection mechanic, so I think that is a major difference between the two.
