America is hated by the world for being America. A lot of people are SERIOUSLY dumb here, but we're not as bigoted, self-centered, ignorant, or plain stupid as a lot assume. There are some ridiculously smart people here, and a lot of good people. But that's just my opinion, people in other countries will always have misconceptions about a different one, much like we assume Canadians are moose riding maple syrup eating polite hockey player mounties.

C'est la vie.

As for the weather, yeah the polar vortex or whatever the nutjob who named it is calling it made it ridiculously cold, but that's it. No ridiculous weather, just cold. It's been exaggerated in my opinion. (Note I'm a Philadelphian/Pennsylvanian/New Englander/However you guys know geography, so I'm not exactly montana or maine or alaska.)

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat.
