I want to read and join this topic so I can get into new animes (pretty much fatigued my list of animes-2-watch). But you all have too obviously non-work related signiatures. It would raise too much suspicion. Eurgh.

Berserk - if the first 10 episodes or so don't draw you in, is it worth continuing it?
That's just my 2 cents.

Well, it's more... 'Trippy'. It's also confusing in the sense that it thrusts you into befuddlement (I like that word, glad I could use it, lol), and it completely catches you off guard. I mean, you know something is up, but YOU DIDN'T EXPECT THIS.

While I don't read manga, I know Berserk is regarded as one of the best mangas out there. In fact, it's rated #1 on MyAnimeList.

The anime, on the other hand, I have no idea about, but from what I can tell, it isn't as good as the manga. Still watch it though, it's still fantastic, albeit outdated. (Once again, from what I have read).

Ok, just finished episode 3 and... Wow. That was actually pretty shocking, and rather brutal to be honest. Huh... Not tear-jerking in my opinion, but wow, that was... Hmm... Yeah, kinda lost for words in the sense that I really can't believe they just did that. I mean, I came here for 'kawaii girls playing wizard', not... You know...

Ah, the classic Cerebus Syndrome. Or Knight of Cerebus. Whatever.

Hey, did you see that red-haired fellow yet?

Also, you might not be aware, but there are three movies out. The first two are simply a rehash of the anime split into two parts, but the third is its own story, which was supposed to be Madoka S2. Executive meddling FTW.

I did hear about them. I wasn't planning on watching them directly after finishing Mahou Shoujo, and I probably still won't be watching it directly after.

I was 23 years old when I watched Puella Magi Madoka Magica, and I felt no embarrassment whatsoever.

Furthermore, I wouldn't call the cast lolis. Moe would be the correct term for PMMM's cast. Loli implies pre-pubescence, which these girls are clearly beyond that stage.
Waiting on a good new MOBA, please.

@TT: I think you should seriously watch it. If you like Avatar, which my sister calls a cartoon for kinds, BTW, then I think you'll like this. They have a lot of similarities, actually.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat.
