Tomoya and Tomoyo is so perfect that even their names match. I, too, feel they matched better.

I also agree that Okabe's and Kurusu's relationship did seem forced in an unexplainable way, but they fit together perfectly nonetheless.

Haven't seen any of the other anime :( except for Misaki and Usui, which don't exactly fit together in the traditional sense of similar interests, but something about them definitely clicks.

HAHA just thought of one - Light Yagami x Ryuk kawaii desu ne~

Okay, that's enough of that LOL

New one: favorite protagonist and antagonist (series can be independent of each other).

My favorite protagonist: Okabe, of course. Then Korra, then L.

Favorite Antagonist: on the tip of my tongue, give me a minute. Edit: gah! I still can't think of him, but when I do it will be in all caps because he was amazing.

Which anime? Maybe I know :3

Oh, favourite protagonist, if you can count them, is Usui (I'm sorry, he's awesome) and Makise Kurisu (She is my favourite character of all time, believe it or not). If not, then Amamiya Yuuko is my favourite.

I have yet to watch many anime with a main antagonist, but if I had to say one, Gauron is one of my favourites. Also, while not a main antagonist, I really liked Amamiya-Sensei from Melodies.

Speaking of Melodies, have you gotten around to watching it yet?

I seriously can't even think of the anime, I just remember the feeling of loving the antagonist while watching a series. It's probably been over a year since I've seen it D:

I haven't seen Ef: a Tale of Melodies yet, and I honestly don't know why. Ef: a Tale of Memories was a superb anime and you said Melodies certainly lives up to it. I'm probably going to watch it when I have my full week off in six weeks.

Personally, I think Melodies is superior to Melodies in almost every way. However, some people did not like Melodies as it was too depressing, and they enjoyed the 'feel good' vibe that Memories had.

I prefer depressing, that's all.

Haha, I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess you meant "I think Melodies is superior to Memories..."

I can dig depressing stuff, but I am a guy who likes happy endings. I'm sure I'll enjoy it even if it doesn't end on a nice note, but it's not necessary if the story is commendable regardless of the mood it ends on.

Mmkay, I just started watching Mahou Shoujo MadokaMagica and I'm just going to say WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING?

Seriously, that was one of the most confusing first episodes I have seen in a while. I mean, it looks very simplistic at first, but god, does it change, and does it change fast. Seriously, that **** caught me off guard. I know this series was strange and possibly insanity-driving, but holy ****, that was just crazy. Seriously, for something that is simply 'kawaii girls playing wizard', that is an incredibly unexpected and confusing, probably even more confusing than Steins;Gate episode 1, and the complete opposite of what you would think would happen.

Also, can I say, the soundtrack is fantastic. I normally don't pay much attention to soundtrack, but simply just by watching, I noticed the soundtrack and said to myself, "Wow, this is oddly fitting." If you saw the scene and then heard the soundtrack for that scene, the musical piece wouldn't seem like it would fit with the scene, but when you actually hear it together, it fits really well. Something as simple as a girl introducing herself in class is paired with this dark, bizarre musical piece. And the thing is is that it completely changes the mood of an ordinary scene into a rather unique moment in the series.

As much as I dislike the character designs, the series has given me odd first impressions that has left me intrigued and wanting more. I'm expecting this to be a good series :3
