You just have to learn the game. With 117 champions, that's not easy. But you'll learn. Mages are honestly the strongest in the game atm (LeBlanc, Kassadin, Fizz, Gragas)


And Ziggs. Mid lane and support are very contested over right now in LCS.

Gragas is ridiculously strong, and so is Ziggs. Fizz is fantastic for solo queue, and Kassadin would be if he wasn't perma-banned. Orianna is also one of the best mage picks for that teamfight changing ultimate (And perssonally, she's one of my favourite mids right now).

For support, the current Holy Trinity is Annie, Thresh and Leona, and it works in a rock paper scissors way (Annie beats Thresh, Thresh beats Leona, Leona beats Annie etcetera etcetera). This Holy Trinity makes me, a Janna support player, really happy, as Janna is the queen of disengage.

Exactly. That teleport took 1/2 of my hp early game and all hp mid game. Our jungler fed her hard and that was pretty much the game, she just dove in 1v5 and penta. She doesn't look like she need anything beside that anyway.


From the games I've played until this point it seems to me, as a mage, that warriors are invincible mid-late game. I can find no other explanation for an under-leveled Warwick (wrote this right?) owning my Ahri in 2 seconds before I could even react, I was 3 levels over him and the orb barely got his hp to 3/4. This is just an example.

I still have a lot to learn, but I don't know if I have the patience to do this. Polish/Russian players with no knowledge of English whatsoever/ ragers always looking for someone else to blame/ people ignoring lane calls in the lobby/ melee champs killing me in 2 seconds with me barely getting off 1/4 of their hp are really giving me a hard time.

A full channeled Katarina ult is one of the highest damaging abilities in the game. The only problem is that it's a 2.5s channel, so it is easily cancelled. The range isn't all to great so you could just walk out in those 2.5 seconds. If she blinks in and starts channeling her ultimate, then, as Ahri, either A. Save your charm for when she's started her ulti B. Dash away with your ultimate or C. If both of those are on cooldown, just flash away. The Katarina v Ahri match-up is more in the Ahri's favour, as she has the tools to completely negate Katarina's ultimate.

Ah yes, I can't believe I forgot Ziggs and Ori. Oh well, was thinking off the top of my head xD

Anyway, I mean support, so those three are easily my top 3. I toss in a taric from time to time, too, if the enemy is AD heavy. Stacking armor is good for me :D

While Ryze was my first 'main', thresh was my first 'MAIN'. I'm a support main (which sucks for elo climbing), and unless they rework him, I don't care what number nerfs he gets. I'm fine with the utility he has.
