Every time I try to create a build I get the ability build and item build and then I can't even type a sentence without the website freezing, it's not the browser or my computer, I have a 2017 dell inspiron with 16gb ram and an amd processor, and have tried multiple browsers. I'm really trying to post a dope he bo jungle season 5 build (it's a thing). Somebody tell me if I'm missing something here.

From what I've found, it has to do with ads...

No point jumping to conclusions that quickly, there are many factors which could be playing a part in this.

Anyway, this is the first time I've heard about this, are others experiencing similar issues while editing their guides?

I've got the same thing.
Simply having the site open for a few minutes will then start slowing it down heavily, freeze or even crash, all requiring a refresh in order to get rid of these problems, but they'll return not long after.

In case it's of any help:
Browser - Google Chrome, latest version (64.0.3282.167 Official build 64-bits)
PC: Intel i5-7400 @3.00 GHz, GTX 1050Ti and 8GB DDR4 (So I doubt this is the problem by a long shot).

This happened to me, but it was because Chrome was in portuguese and thought that anything in english was wrong grammatically so almost every single word was with that red thing below it. It got normal after I disabled it.

Never had that problem myself. On my phone or PC.

Had a problem with ads on my phone though. So I downloaded Opera (the browser) and started using that for Smitefire instead of Chrome on my phone. And it works just like normal.

But try addblock if you are on chrome on your pc. Might help :)&

I have never used an AdBlocker, but I haven't had this problem for ever. Only started recently, but I've got no clue what causes it. Who says ads are the cause?

The site never really got slow for me on the PC, and I rarely use it on my phone so it would be wrong to judge it from my lack of experience.
And my PC is trash, soooo... idk.
