Introduction

Hello, and welcome to my guide for Aphrodite. This is my first guide, so stay with me here with my mistakes. With that said, this is the Noob's Guide to Aphrodite!

Skills

I can't think of anything funny to say, so let's get into Aphrodite's Skills, in order.

  • Passive --- Loving Embrace

  • 1 ---

  • 2 ---

  • 3 ---

So, there are her abilities. All of them have to do with your Soul Mate, or the person you are supporting. It is crucial you talk to your Soul Mate, so that you can time Tower Dives, Fire Giant, etc.

Items

In this chapter, I will be explaining the items I put in the Build above. Let's start it up!

Support Build

Mid Lane Build

Aphrodite's items mostly revolve around helping others, or in the case of Mid Lane, damage.

Summary

In conclusion, Aphrodite is pretty good if you know how to play her. This guide is mostly for noobs at Aphro, as I am one as well. Please upvote it if you liked, and I will be posting a video here of me playing a game with Aphro with my friend Repper as Xbalanque. Please be respectful in the comments, and I hope that you will all help me with this build!

Updates

--- Jun 16, 2015 --- Made it look pretty. Also, I realized I was being stupid, and made it so that you start out with the correct active, as you can't sell them.

--- Aug 21, 2015 --- Changed up the Abilities, made it more viable. Also, added Purification for certain circumstances.

Oh and the onlt change to the build I would make is chromos pendant due to the power and it caps your cdr and provides loads of mp5

@FemFatalis On aphro you do not build like a traditional support I.e sov travellers shoes and heartward. You need to get damage as it increases the heal on her 3 which is her main skill and also hog isn't viable anymore and isn't needed for the obj control at all. As well as this eye of prov isn't even in the game anymore and meditation is great on aphro early game and that is the main reason you get the active.

@ThePerfectPrism, I would definitely love help with the formatting, so yes, please PM me with more info. I already have Winged Blade in the build, so I will deal with moving stuff around to make it correct, thank you very much. I will also get with making the actives Hand of the Gods and Meditation.

Hi !

Has for the item selection of your build, you'll overcap your CDR if you buy Pythagorem's Piece, Which means it could be better if you changed Chronos' Pendant with Winged Blade, so Pythagorem's Piece would do it's full use.

If you want to stay with Chronos' Pendant, I suggest you to get either Bancroft's Talon, for the lifesteal, or Spear of the Magus, so you can inflict some OP damage for a support.

Overall, I personally agree with Meditation, it has been my favorite active for Aphrodite since Season 1, so yeah.

Also, you'll be playing the support role, so you need Hand of the Gods right after you spawn.

The guide could use some BB Coding. If you need help with that, just reply with a yes and I'll send you a PM.

Aside from that, it's a pretty solid build, one that I enjoy since it would do the "damage way" support, which is my favorite for Aphrodite. +1

@Fem, Winged Blade is not crucial, especially with Heavenly Agility (although it is often a good pick) and due to aphro's nature as a support Traveler's Shoes aren't always the best option over Shoes of Focus for her (she doesn't have the most powerful rotations and she needs to heal as often as possible).

As for meditation, just note that this is solely an early game item. If you can secure enough of an early game lead with it it can work fine for aphro since she can share it with her adc (never underestimate an early game lead), however remember that this active is pretty worthless late game.

Thank you very much for the support, but I believe that Meditation is better than most other actives for Aphro Support simply because of her passive, giving her partner mana. This also helps your partner, so they don't need Meditation. I do agree that Eye should be taken out, so I will just leave an empty spot for "It depends". I already have Sovereignty in there, and for Travelers Shoes, the shoes I already have work perfectly for the build, and for gold, I have Watchers Gift. I will replace Polynomicon with Winged Blade. Thank you so much for your help!

You can't sell actives. This crucial fact means that Eye of Providence and Meditation are some of the worst actives in the game, since for Eye of Providence, you can simply buy wards and place them whenever you want. Supports also NEED Wrath of the Gods for objective control, and since Aphrodite is a healer who needs mobility, Heavenly Agility is almost entirely necessary. I don't play Aphrodite in the support role - my guide for is in-depth but refers to the solo lane - but this build really needs some work. Sovereignty, Travelers Shoes, Winged Blade, these are all crucial to the support.
