Most people build trans on Cupid because he is mana hungry and the power is really good on him, he does however not only get mana if his teammates pick of the hearts from his but it's 30 mana per heart meaning if his teammates pick up 2 hearts he gets 10 mana and he gets 40 if they get all 3 meaning he doesn't get as much out of the mana as other gods do, as long as someone is in lane with you. His main combo is basic, 1, basic. The "Meta" devo's build works on him as well, you can find that on smite pro builds. Full ability builds with heartseeker work but are not reconmended in ADC, and I wouldn't reconmend playing him in mid but it is possible to do so.

Mage's Blessing. I would never recommend this start since you ONLY have 
Heart Bomb to help you clear the wave, so or you build hunter's or don't build blessings and go for T2.
Shifter's Shield is an item I'd never build on cupid. Same for 
Atalanta's Bow, usually 
Flutter is enough to keep you near the target/away from the enemy- I'd never build bracer of undoing on
Cupid 'cause you may attract anti heals.
