The builds show being built first, and this is probably ideal.

However, there are cases where building first could be optimal, as it provides a solid early power spike in itself, as well as gets you some essential movement speed sooner rather than later.

ive seen plenty of guides stating to get t1 item then rushing tabi

Sometimes worth rush boots (mainly when you are behind). As said due the power spike it provides, it helps you a lot. With the movement and power provided you can try to get closer of your enemy or even pass him. While if you are ahead you almost everytime will rush the stack to get more benefits (mana, lifesteal, power...). At least I do this.

Can also work if the enemy is stronger on early game than you. You do boots to try to counter his early game stronger with the power an then you go to stack.
