Hi people... Welcome to my reworked guide
This is my *New* build for Arachne on both siege and 1 v 1 joust
feel free to add constructive comments below, for visuals of my build see my Youtube channel which is MrMordo85
10/09:rework for arachne went live
11/09: using Arachne in siege found that Odysseus bow was not as good as expected in usage in PTS
Pros :
Able to quickly solo the Midguana (Kevin the mid lizard)
Queen of slowing down her prey
No more having to make yourself a target whilst draining life
Great AA speed
great early damage
SPIDERS EVERYWHERE!!!!!
Cons :
If you have a very greedy lane partner it can be hard to farm up your Devourer Gauntlet at first
Can be very mana greedy at first
If you're an arachnophobia: TERROR EVERYWHERE!
Venomous Bite
Fantastic early game damage, poison and a heal, this is the first thing you want to lvl as well as this is the opening ability once you are withing distance *can be activated in ult*
Cocoon
Fantastic sustain: this is your burst, used wisely you not only take off a ton of life but you also CC them to keep them in close *can be activated in ult*
Tangled Web
Tangled Web
Poke, poke poke.... this is a very fun utility, use it to cover jungle exits, poke enemies whilst in a stalemate or use it to slow your prey so that you can chase faster
Night Crawler
Meh would rather have her old Ult but this is good for now, Nightcrawler give Arachne what she needed the most in her last kit AN ESCAPE. Nightcrawler also is a good tool for chasing people down (if used responsibly) you can use Coccoon and Venomous Bite whilst in this state

Anyway, nice build. You play differently then I do, but I am still experiementing before I post mine hopefully tonight I do want to comment on the skill leveling though.
Personally, I think just 1 rank in her 2 is enough to late game. Getting your web wall leveled second, at least for me, is very important. You slow them for longer, letting you chase better, and your broodlings do more damage (wish they scaled with your power but that may have be broken) All 2 gives you is a faster attack speed and a slightly longer stun, which is great, but I think chasing and securing kills is more imporant.
At least for me. I find a fast Arachne is the most threatening type...
this is not the updated arachnee right?
It will be soon, I am still running different sets to test the best kits ( expect it full by the weekend
Thank you for this build. I love my little venomous spider queen, I do. I usually build shoes before devourer's gauntlets... I think I'll change that up now.
That said, I would recommend Qin's Sais over Executioner, and Rage over Deathbringer. The additional target scaling damage and 5% attack speed for Qin's has done me wonders. With Rage if you can hit the target 5 times (fairly easy with the stun-snag) you're guaranteed to apply the additional crit DOT even if it isn't as large. Many times this alongside my pretty pretty pets has allowed me to scuttle hurry away to another target while the original still keels over dead. This though is getting down to personal taste and variability management.
thanks for the feedback, the reason i choose Executioner over quins is due to the "peel effect" hit 3 time and 21% of the protections are gone from your target, this isn't just for you, this is affecting them so spiders do extra damage, physical team mates do extra... might try the rage but again peeps thanks for the upvotes and feel free to visit my Youtube channel, will be looking to update more this weekend
Really nubby question here, how do i upvote?

[Frostbound hammer] is supposed to make them fear coming too close to you. It's a great item for duo laning since it will only really allow them to attack you. They can't run away, and they can't attack your teammate. Plus it gives you health so killing you will be harder.
