Full Build

Notes Beads is obviously a MUST as Artemis has little to no mobility and will be CC'd a LOT.

Hunter's Cowl will provide us with the lifesteal we need, 60 power, 20% attack speed, 15 MP5, and an insane 25% attack speed aura. If you are not near a teammate, you are granted 10% movement speed which dramatically helps Artemis' lack of mobility.

Ichaival will provide you with 80 power at maximum stacks, 30% attack speed, and slows enemy attack speed by 21%, this is an insane early power spike. As you will have 35% attack speed with Leather Cowl, not including your attack speed steroid.

Atalanta's Bow provides 25% attack speed (45% attack speed with passive proc), 40 power, and 10% pen, with 30% less movement penalty to backpedaling, attacking, and strafing with the passive proc.

Rage provides 30 power, and 45% critical strike chance (at max stacks), which ensures you will be hitting your crits a lot more to apply the Wind Demon passive more often, which will have the Silverbranch Bow passive be increased more often too.

Wind Demon provides 25 power, 15% attack speed, and 20% critical strike chance. With the passive, for every time you hit a critical strike, your attack speed is increased by 15%, movement speed by 10%, and 10% penetration.

Silverbranch Bow is what this build is built around. The base of this item provides you with 30% attack speed, 30 power, and 10% penetration. However, the passive provides 2 physical power every 0.02 attack speed you are over the attack speed cap. With all of the item effects of Atalanta's Bow, Wind Demon, Hunter's Cowl and your 2 ability, this will make you gain a significant power boost.

Hello :)

Another simple build, not a guide, I may update this in the future to be a proper full guide as Artemis is one of my favourite gods in the game. I had her diamond before I mastered any other god though I currently now only have one star on her :)

I've been playing with this build a bit and it was played by PandaCat as well the other day in the SPL. I think it's a fantastic build and helps Artemis actually be a pickable character in the game for once!

Silverbranch reaches 80+ stacks (160+ power), which is absurd!

Purification Beads MUST be bought first every time, Artemis has no escape so she will die a lot in the early if you don't play it safe.

Why does Artemis need Trans though, especially 4th item?

No offense but if you're getting Silverbranch Bow, switching out WD for Trans sort of hurts your potential in 2 ways:

1. Less AS so you get less Silver stacks
2. 1 crit item = lower crit chance overall, making for somewhat more depleted average DPS

If you're going to try this build, suggest you stick with it as-is.

Excellent build.
I just change a bit :
First, Hunter's + ASI (For more lifesteal) and removed atalanta.
Wind Demon is praticly always on + "2", 400 physical easy. Just to ask the oponents to group up and PENTAKILL!! :D

Problem is the lack of % pen that way :)

Demon + Sylver = 20%
Ichaeval give more power and Sylver too.
with this, (When I don't miss shots...) 3 AA squishy are dead and 4 or 5 for tankiest.

I just played this in Arena (which I know is not really the target of most builds) and it's honestly really fun. A nice mix of AS and crit, fun overall.

Hey Aerix,

I'm sure this is a fun build, and it can definitely do damage. Here are some calcs and things you might try as an alternate build.

This build, assuming the following:
  • You're level 20
  • You're getting the AS passive from Hunter's Cowl and Wind Demon
  • You've got full stacks of Ichaival
...against a squishy enemy with 70 physical protections (approximate average for a squishy god with no added prots) provides 991 DPS (average) without steroid, and 1,195 DPS with steroid. You can increase your DPS potential a bit by replacing Atalanta's Bow with The Executioner (after obtaining full stacks of Exe), giving you numbers of 1,024 and 1,241 respectively. Exe obviously can help if you have more physical gods on your team, but initially you'll have higher DPS from Ata (and likely higher ability damage as well).

If you're looking to increase your DPS potential with the steroid, then you might try the following build:
That build, provided the same general assumptions, gives you numbers of 1,139 and 1,310. Note that all of these numbers are not incorporating the possibility that Art's passive is active. Her DPS numbers are likely to be higher across the board due to the amount of CC in the game.

One other thing you might try is to incorporate Poisoned Star into that build as a 3rd crit item; that will ensure you're always getting your passive damage bonus, as well as better control against your target due to the slow.
