Bakasura,The great devourer.
Hi, I'm SovietBear77. This is my first (real) guide, and Since he was just given the remodel that he so rightfully desired, Today I am here to give a build/guide for one of my favorite gods, Bakasura, Devourer of the jungle, Demolisher of the solo lane..
A horrendous demon with a bottomless appetite for human flesh, Bakasura is a nightmare come to life.
After committing countless atrocities, Bakasura has demonstrated no end to his depravity, no limits to his brutality, no sating his desire to slurp human meat, crunch bone, and guzzle hot blood. So many are his vile victories over mankind that they cannot be relayed here, yet it his defeat at the hands of a man that is worth the telling.
According to the Hindu epic, the Mahabharata, the famous Pandava brothers were traveling in exile with their mother, Kunti, when they came to the village Ekachakra. Disguised as brahmins, they sought alms from the villagers in order to sustain themselves. They soon learned that a demon, Bakasura, was living outside the village, devouring the people as they passed through the woods. The chief went to the demon and begged that the feasting stop. In return, a cart of food would be sent to Bakasura each day. Bakasura consumed not only the provisions, but the person that brought the cart as well.
After hearing this tale from a weeping woman whose son would bear the cart on the morrow, Kunti declared that her son Bhima, who possessed impossible strength and had slain demons before, would take the cart instead, as repayment to the kindness the villagers had shown their family.
Once in the forest, Bhima nonchalantly ate the food intended for Bakasura. Furious, Bakasura threatened to eat Bhima, which he just laughed off, goading the demon to attack him. All day they battled until Bhima finally slew the demon, tied him to the cart and dragged the body back to the village, where the people celebrated the victory in bewilderment.
Hunger, however, is a demon that cannot be defeated and, inevitably, Bakasura’s disgusting rumble will rise again, now more ravenous than ever and ready to feed.
This item is absolutely great on Bakasura. Along with the next item, This will have your enemies struggling to escape from your blades.
Hastened Fatalis is a must have on Bakasura. Bakasura is heavily basic attack based, so being able to do them without the slow effect is very useful. Plus the extra movement speed is always great. It goes great with Frostbound Hammer, as well.
If you are up against a hunter or another assassin, this item is great. It negates their attack speed while giving you more attack and movement speed. I tend to build this and hastened over boots.
Crit. Crit is very important on all assassins. Rage is a great item for crit. Its passive will have you critting for days.
Lifesteal, AND attack speed? What more do I need to say? This item is very solid on Bakasura, and really helps with boxing!
Lifesteal is very important. The attack speed from Asi is great, but the lifesteal just wont cut it on its own. This item goes great with Regurgitate.
If you want more crit, and overall more power, sell Frostbound Hammer for this item.
You do lose that slow, however. But at this point it shouldnt quite matter. You should be demolishing your enemies :)
Bakasura's attack and movement speed temporarily increases for each enemy that he kills.
This doesnt seem like that big of a deal, but what I hear from this is "Easy Penta!"
Bakasura leaps to his target location, Doing damage to all targets in the area and reducing their physical protection.
A leap, which can be used to damage, and to getaway. The fact that it reduces physical protection means you should probably go in on the more tanky people with this, but you should be fine not doing so. I usually max this last.
Eat Minions Bakasura Grabs a minion and devours it, Healing himself and gaining protections buff. Buff wielding minions must be at 33% health to consume. Up to 6 minions are stored for Regurgitate.
A good heal when you need it, plus more minions for Regurgitate. All around a great ability. My first point goes into here, as it kind of negates getting HOG in my opinion.
Bakasura Passively gains physical power. When activated, He gains additional true damage on each strike for the duration.
This eats through every god like they're nothing. And we all know, Bakasura loves to eat. I try to max this first.
Bakasura Exposes his head, regurgitating all of the minions consumed by his Eat Minion ability at his ground target location that slows and cripples enemy players. Bakasura's basic attacks become cone attacks and he is immune to crowd control for 1.5 seconds.
This is by far the best ability in your kit. This is what you will use early game to get fed. Do this on a mage and its usually an instant success. I max this whenever I can.

Had a couple of arena games etc where people just can't seem to drop the fact that dear Bakasura isn't wearing boots.
Sheesh.
Works for pictures to.
Its very bad to not buy boots in a moba it is basically asking for your own death in game types. Its a good guide but boots are essential in any kind of moba no exceptions.
You get 18% Movement speed from boots.
You get 25% from hastened and witchblade.
I dont really see your logic here.
Frostbound was a surprisingly decent starter item, once you get your Hastened Fatalis (which is also a pretty cheap item) you are really starting to become a threat!
Once again, sweet guide!
I don't know how far you want to take the guide in terms of details, but perhaps go further into detail about ability leveling order for us new Bakas who just started nomming the opposition!
(I do know that you mentioned which abilities you max first, and which ones you max last but just for the simple overview for the more lazy folk! :) )
Yup, I can totally see Frostbound being useful in endgame as well, there's nothing wrong with being able to slow some poor bastard down with your autoattacks.
I'm almost tempted to swap out something else for the Deathbringer; just don't really know what to sack instead. Perhaps get rid of Asi or Bloodforge for the ridiculous damage boost you get from DB?
If you feel that you dont really need lifesteal, you could replace Bloodforge with it.

Endgame it might be better to swap out something for the deathbringer instead.
