Even when concerned mainly with squishy gods, you really do want as one of your core items. For any basic attack function for any hunter, should 100% be considered core. should absolutely be replaced in this case.

is almost always a better item compared to . It's 500 gold cheaper, and once stacked, it provides almost 10% higher lifesteal. I can understand if you don't need as much for boxing in Joust, and prefer that health shield if you get a kill, but it's really tough getting it 2nd.

In almost all cases, is a better 2nd crit item for overall DPS. With the consideration of all the attack speed you're getting in this build, you'll also balance your DPS better by getting it before your 2nd of the shuriken crit items.
