Danzaburou's Skill Order Notes Assumed preferred skill leveling order.

Fool's Gold is his main damage and wave clear ability and should be prioritized.

Alluring Spirits provides a small heal, damage, CC, and decreasing CD when leveled and is the 2nd priority.

Tanuki Trickery provides a small amount of increased movement speed when leveled, but nothing else, so is prioritized last.

Uproarious Rocket has good damage potential and a very slight increase in stun duration when leveled, but the damage increase isn't enough to prioritize over Alluring Spirits. This should be leveled when available AFTER the 1 snd 2 are maxed.

Danzaburou rolls out 3 money bags that pass through and damage Enemy minions but stop on Enemy gods, slowing as they travel. Gods hit are damaged and Intoxicated, dropping a gold coin that Danzaburou or his ally gods can pick up to provide him 10 gold.

When a money bag stops moving, it reveals to be an explosive which detonates after a short delay. Subsequent hits of the money bag or explosions deal 15% damage.

Ability Type: Line, Intoxicate, Damage

3 B
Danzaburou creates a field where he moves faster, is slow immune, takes less damage, and has no basic attack penalty. Enemies in the field are slowed by 20%. If Danzaburou leaves the field it fades turning him into a leaf with other decoys that mimic his movement. As a leaf his movement speed is increased, he is slow immune and can pass through enemies and allies. After a short delay from transforming, any hit from Enemy gods or if Danzaburou himself attacks, he will revert back.

Ability Type: Circle, Buff
Movement Speed: 20%
Leaf Movement Speed: 30 / 32.5 / 35 / 37.5 / 40%

4 Y
Danzaburou summons a magical leaf which transforms into a large bamboo rocket! While preparing, Danzaburou can aim the rocket within 180 degrees to lock onto Enemy gods or he can refire this ability to become the rocket, also becoming damage immune.

Once fired the Rocket will pass through and damage Enemy minions, stopping on the first Enemy god hit damaging and stunning them while dealing 75% damage in a larger area.

Ability Type: Line, Crowd Control, Damage
Damage: 300 / 360 / 420 / 480 / 540 (+100% of your Physical Power)

Introduction

Hello everyone! My name is Branmuffin17 (PC IGN: Muffinman17), and I'm a SMITEFire admin and casual SMITE player on PC. This has been created as a starting build direction for players looking to try the new hunter Danzaburou in SMITE PTS. The builds provided here have NOT been playtested, and are based off of my general build knowledge and the developers' suggestions from the 7.12 Update Show.

This creation is likely temporary until others create more in-depth builds and guides, but depending on feedback, I may develop this further.

Build Discussion

Per the SMITE developers, they stated that Danzaburou is expected to be played as a typical ADC in the Duo Lane, with flex potential into the Mid-Lane. They indicated 2 build types that showed good efficacy in their playtesting:

I've provided general builds for both directions, with a listing of situational / optional items for the later slots of the build and to replace Ninja Tabi late-game.

I think replace odysseus bow by ichaival is better and from far away or replace by wind demon maybe idk why everybody love odysseus bow...

Odysseus' Bow gives off a good amount of AoE damage in teamfights (which works nicely with percent pen), that's the main reason to get it other than to help cap your attack speed. And it's nice for waveclearing without using abilities too.

What do you think is a good Hunter MID build for Danzaburou? I'm sick of duo.

Thats a poor item that give just attack speed and an passiv that is in my opinion...bad
Demon wind or deathbringer is litteraly better

Great start to figure things out!

Some suggestions:

1. In the Devo's Qins build prioritise Odysseus' Bow over Silverbranch in build order.

2. I suggest 2 health + 2 multi for the starters. At max duration it's same regen as 3 health + 1 mana but you can double stack the sustain.

Adjusted as suggested, thanks Kriega.

Congratulations, Downvoted XD
Just kidding, you have my +1 even though I didn't like that fail as a single crit item and on the last spot :p

Fail-Not is decent as a single crit item, though I would have sold boots for it instead and gotten Obow 6th.

For arena i just tried this for my first time on him...was a bit slow to start but ended up top damage and 11/8/16. Wanted to get CDR more than just fail not and don't like trans most times in arena aside on maybe a couple of characters so why i went soul and malice to pair with it. Could easily have done way more damage if i was used to the character so i feel pretty good about 34k in this match with this setup first time playing him. The enemies Danza had an o-bow set up and i liked how that potential looked like it could go that route so i'll probably try something with that as well.

Ninja Tabi Soul Eater Malice Atalanta's Bow wind demon Fail-Not
match id 1110883491. Any suggestions would be welcome.

Personally don't like the enemy Danza's build. Getting O-Bow to go with BF, Asi, PS, and DB is just not very good. Don't like mixing 0 power items with crit builds, PS is a weak item right now, and 2 lifesteal items is unneeded in Arena.

I'll have to play him and see how CDR feels compared to a full basic attack build in Arena, but I think you could skip lifesteal altogether. In your build in place of SE, I'd consider rushing Fail quicker for a stronger early boost in CDR, and if you want lifesteal, consider a late BF pickup instead. I'd probably try something like Ninja, Fail, Wind, Ata, Malice, BF.

Thanks for the input. He is a bit different getting used to but had fun with him. I switched my order around the second match a bit by putting ata 3rd and malice 4th but one of those low kill matches where i think the other team had like barely over 10-15 kills for the win and i was pressing to try and make up for our lack of offense so not sure how much of my slight switch in order mattered. I will have to try your suggestion out. Seems like it would probably work pretty well.
