STARTING OFF, right.

Notes Some might feel fancier going with RANK 1 BOOTS for better mobility, but I like to stay longer for the first grind.

Notes Now you want to get some sustain *SOUL EATER* while keeping yourself busy with getting fed and fat on stacks. After you have managed that, buy your way to *THE CRUSHER*. Now we begin additional stacking of ATKPOWER & PENETRATION.

FILLING OUT THE SLOTS (SITUATIONALS)

Notes ITEMS LIKE>> *WINGEGD BLADE* *SPIRIT ROBE* *TOXIC BLADE* *SHIFTERS SHIELD* *BRAWLER'S BEAT STICK*

If you are looking to win and have been fed good enough. Consider the *Brawler's Beat Stick or Deathbringer.

The healing reduction helps you keep rolling or the 25% Chance adds nice surprises with a 30% extra kick.

I have gone with Toxic Blade instead of boots before, in order to get the last penetration, more ATKspeed and the 40 % Healing Reduction if I decided not to go with the Beatstick. This is possible because you've built Heartseeker earlier on, which will leave you on 20% Movementspeed, still faster than most with just a regular good ol' pair of boots.

1 X
Pele flourishes and fires out a magma orb ahead of her in a line, dealing damage and granting fuel per enemy hit. Once the fiery projectile reaches maximum distance it hovers for a brief instant, solidifies, and then returns back in pieces, dealing damage to enemies on the way back. The number of shards returning is dependent on the rank of this ability.

Pele has 2 charges of this ability.

Ability Type: Line, Damage
Damage: 60 / 100 / 140 / 180 / 220 (+60% of your Physical Power)
Return Damage: 30 (+15% of your Physical Power)
Fuel Gain: 5
Range: 60
Cost: 40 / 45 / 50 / 55 / 60
Cooldown: 15s

Eruption

2 A
Pele fiercely erupts energy into the ground, exploding in an area around her, causing damage and Knockup to all enemies.

At ranks 3 and 5 the area expands again at a delay, dealing less damage and a smaller Knockup.

Ability Type: Circle, Knockup, Damage
Inner Damage: 70 / 115 / 160 / 205 / 250 (+80% of your Physical Power)
Outer Damage: 140 / 180 / 220 (+60 of your Physical Power)
Radius: 15 / 25 / 35
Cost: 60 / 65 / 70 / 75 / 80
Cooldown: 15s

4 14 16 18 19

Magma Rush

3 B
Pele churns the land around her, dealing damage to nearby enemies and providing constant movement speed while this ability is active.
Toggle this ability again to enter an amplified state, expending more fuel but dealing more damage and providing additional movement speed.
This ability has no cooldown but uses fuel and cannot be activated when below 10 fuel.
This damage does not trigger Item effects.

Ability Type: Circle, Buff, Damage
Damage: 10 / 15 / 20 / 25 / 30 (+5% of your Physical Power)
Speed: 30%
Amplified Damage: 20 / 35 / 50 / 65 / 80 (+20% of your Physical Power)
Amplified Speed: 60%
Initial Fuel Cost: 5
Cost: 10
Cooldown: 0s
Volcanic Lightning

Volcanic Lightning

4 Y
After a short warm up, Pele dashes forwards dealing massive damage and a slow to the first enemy God hit, and dealing additional damage to enemies behind in a cone.

For the next 10 seconds or 4 attacks, every time Pele hits an enemy with a basic attack, she instead deals ability damage in a cone originating from that enemy. During this time Pele's basic attacks deal 40% reduced damage.

Ability Type: Cone, Slow, Damage
Damage: 180 / 265 / 350 / 435 / 520 (+60% of your Physical Power)
Cone Damage: 100 / 140 / 180 / 220 / 260 (+50% of your Physical Power)
Slow: 20 / 25 / 30 / 35 / 40%
Slow Duration: 3s
Range: 60/35
Cost: 100
Cooldown: 90s

A small welcome and thank you!

Welcome to my guide of Pele, the newest addition to the smiting realm of the gods.
I am no veteran at writing guides or playing Smite. I do however feel that I have a good sense of how to battle and win. This is my take on this version of Pele.

THANK YOU FOR TAKING YOUR SWEET TIME TO TAKE A LOOK. MAYBE IT HELPED? IF it did and you have any nice tweaks or recommendations, feedback is deeply appreciated!

Yeah this build has some questionable item choices - like executioner and health chalice.

Guessing Exe was taken out?

If Exe was there when Kriega commented, then it's not an optimal pen item because Pele is more ability-based. She will absolutely use basics in-between ability use, so things like Hydra's Lament can work well, as you've listed, but Exe will need you to hit multiple attacks to get the stacks...and you'll typically lead with abilities, so you won't get the benefit early in your attack chain.

As for Chalice of Healing as a starter, it's typically not optimal. Most junglers are going to either get a head start on MS by getting T1 Boots, or they'll get a jump on an early power item (like T1 Mace), depending on what they're going to build first. If you get the chalice, you'll have great health sustain, but you should get some of that from Assassin's Blessing. You'll likely be better served saving that early $$$ from Chalice and starting as I previously mentioned.

And although Hydra's can work well, other items like Toxic Blade aren't as good for her. Again, with an ability focus, Brawler's Beat Stick would be a better general choice for anti-heal. You do have that option, and I'd suggest dropping Toxic. Same would go for Deathbringer. One crit item is never, ever, evereverever optimal. You're relying too much on somewhat low percentage RNG. This is why all functional crit builds get at least 2 crit items. It's a mathematical thing. The only time it can work is when crit is built into the god's kit...like Ne Zha's ultimate.

You're getting very little pen in the main portion of your build. You can opt to go a bit more bruiser with Void Shield for the protection reduction, or you might have Titan's Bane as another situational, for lots of tanky enemies.

As for protection items, I think Spirit Robe is probably not the best choice. It's not bad, as it has 20% CCR, but Magi's Cloak might be a better option (depends though).

Just fiddling around in Jungle practice, she gets some great attack canceling with her Pyroclast. AA - Pyro - AA - Pyro - AA goes VERY quickly...then drop an Eruption and pop them in the air. Hydra's Lament seems like it should be a key/core item.
