Hello Hello, and Welcome Fellow SMITElings! My name is Okaapi and this would be my second Guide on Ye olden Smitefire.com. The guide I have prepared for you today is for our Friend Anubis who is, in my opinion, One of the best junglers in SMITE due to his EXTREME speed at clearing Jungle camps, as well as his DoT Lifesteal scaling.
DISCLAIMER: DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO JUNGLE WITH ANUBIS IF YOU ARE NEW WITH THE GOD, YOU MUST UNDERSTAND THE BASICS OF ANUBIS FIRST DUE TO HIM BEING ROOTED FOR 3/4 OF HIS ATTACKS AND HIS MOST IMPORTANT ABILITY IS A SKILLSHOT.
Without Further ado, Let us get Started!
PROS!
- Amazing at clearing Jungle camps after about 5 minutes or so
- Lifesteal Now scales with Anubis AMAZINGLY, While using an ability with a lot of enemy minions around you're practically inpenetrable
- Amazing Ganker, Able to go up behind someone in a lane and lock them down before they can notice you.
-You're a ****ing dog
CONS!
-3 Out of your 4 attacks require you to be rooted ( Can't move, can still attack)
- Your root (2) is a tricky skill shot and can have a more than necessary cooldown.
- I've noticed a lot of people like to get in your butt and gank you if they see you in the jungle, which is quite annoying early game when you don't have a lot of mana, lifesteal and CDR.
Sorrow- All of Anubis' abilities steal physical and magical protection from the target and he gains increased scaling to his item-based magical lifesteal. In addition, Sorrow grants Anubis an additional 30% reduction to all crowd control durations (does not stack with Resolve).
What can I say? This Passive is pretty much, well, AMAZING! First off the fact that you steal protections from tanks is great so you can take them down, Which also contributes to you being an amazing ganker, as well as the Scaling that I've been raving about to those magical lifesteal items. Plus that 30% CC durations is also nice for catching those *******s that try to get away from you.
Plague of Locusts- A plague of locusts bellows forth from Anubis' mouth, smothering all enemies in the area and doing damage every .5s for 3s. Anubis is immune to knockback while channeling.
Very good farming tool as well as good for pokeing or even killing a low health enemy.
Mummify- Anubis fires a bandage projectile, mummifying and stunning his target.
Welp, Out of all your skills, this is the bread I would have to say, The most important of them all. You simply are not half as good of a ganker if you do not have this skill, the roots your target for up to 2s (I'm not sure if that durratons are included or not)
Grasping Hands- Anubis calls for help from the underworld as hands penetrate the ground and claw at his enemies, doing damage and slowing every .5s for 2s.
Grasping hands is like the Jelly if this sandwich of an equation, It's the ability that you level up first because it can do the most damage, other than your ultimate and it can slow so you can get up to the enemy and then mummify then Locusts/Death Gaze
Death Gaze- Anubis focuses all of his energy into a piercing gaze, doing damage to all enemies in the path, every 0.3 seconds for 3 seconds.
You're infamous ultimate, this is the peanut butter, the sticky yummy conclusion that the enemy team is all allergic to because they keep dying from it, then they rage quit and uninstall- Nice Job, Junglenubis.
This will come up sometime this week, I'm currently just working on the rest of the guide, Please rate and comment on this guide everybody :D
Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.
SMITEFire is the place to find the perfect build guide to take your game to the next level. Learn how to play a new god, or fine tune your favorite SMITE gods’s build and strategy.

I see that you mentioned that you have more coming up. My suggestion...
You should never have pushed that publish button. The only major piece of this guide is your take on the abilities, which in all honesty both should not be compared to a sandwich and is not helpful, there really isn't much to look at.
In a jungle guide, the major thing people should be looking at is gameplay. Give advice for a jungle route, as well as tips for jungling. Right you, you give suggestions, and little of them to match.
Won't downvote, but won't upvote unless I see much more info which I have a feeling you're capable of doing, but got lazy and wanted to get the guide out as soon as possible.
I shall be watching, sir...
thank you for the criticism, I've been waiting to people to comment so I can actually continue with this and see what I need to improve, which after I return I can start working on the jungle route, I had acquired a minimal from somebody a while back and I'll just probably go use Microsoft paint and draw some stuff on it

Furthermore, that grasp does more damage than plague is plain wrong (now?).
6 times 35 + 40 % over 4 times 25 + 35 %. And Plague even costs less mana!
I like the idea about jungling with
At least not before boots, and in my view it should only be a situational item. Because it gives you a low amount damage low mana (not to important) and the passive is not really useful unless the enemy team got a lot of heals (or someone like Hercules, Kali etc is extremely hard to kill because of their heals). So you might end up wasting gold on something you don't need.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR GIVING ME INSIGHT. Although I have quite a large base of knowlage of the game I feel that I lack with the construction with items a bit more, I will change this, Just the ammount of times that I've tried Jungling with Anubis Devine Ruin has worked for me greatly because it is a good ammount of lifesteal and fairly cheap, but I will change this.
