Early game you want to start with tier 2 "tabi", 2hp, and 1 mp. All of these items are necessary to sustain in lane solo or non-solo.
Then early game you want to upgrade your "Tabi" into "Warrior Tabi". After you boots is soul eater for:
1) Attack speed (help in healing more)
2) Lifesteal (more sustain)
3) Health (tanky)
4) and support your team.
You want to get "FrostBoundHammer" somewhere early game and then finish it into "FrostBound Amulet" mid game. FRB (Frost Bound Amulet) is a very useful item especially with your ult. Everything that is hit by your ability is slowed by 10% for 2 sec. This is great for team fights since most of your abilities are AOE. The item also makes you really tanky and gives ok damage.
Another mid game item is "The Executioner". Since Kali relies on her basic attacks, use this item to quickly shred armor of your enemies while doing some extra damage.
You want to get "Death bringer" mid game and finish it in mid game if you can, if you finish it late game it is ok. "Death Bringer" costs way to much for early game but you want to get it asap. So mid is the best time to get it. You'll do tons of damage to your opponents and it goes great with "The Executioner" and "Rage"
"Rage" you can get mid game or late game. You can either replace "The Executioner" or the "Death Bringer" for mid game. I get "Rage late game because If I get all the items In order then I dominate throughout the whole match.
I'll be updating this guide later on.
I made this guide late at night so if it sucks then you know why.
I've carried as kali plenty of times and she is one of my favorite gods.

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.

Actually, I'm working on one right now: https://www.smitefire.com/smite/guide/accidentally-published-do-not-read-3186
Also... can you tell me where in the meta a laning Kali can fit in? only Jungle. A laning guide for a jungle-only god is useless. That's why I said "oh god no", because this could inspire some people. And you know how much it sucks to play with a team that purposefully breaks the meta...
Again you don't have to follow the meta. The meta is just a way to "win" your matches. If we were to follow the meta then solo lane loki (most solo lane loki do good), ap hades, ap aphro, etc wouldn't be allowed. Also it gets boring following the meta all the time, it's about tim we have some fun.
Again, Talenhiem, with the useless posts on new guides. It's especially annoying coming from someone who hasn't even published a guide. Since you've posted the exact same three-word sentence in both of these guides, I'll simply make my single reply here:
@TheTwinkiGuy, I can't comment on the build considering I don't know much about physical gods, but the actual guide seems to only consists of when to purchase each item. I recommend going over when and how to use each of her skills, as well as a general playstyle, i.e: when (and how) to initiate, how to manage yourself in-lane, as well as other things. Nothing too in-depth, just basic information - simply going over each skill is essential.
You can also access guides on BBCoding and General Guide Help if you want, but I don't think it's very important in short guides.
