Hello! I am RLF1AVET a PS4 smite player. I play Conquest and Joust mainly. This is my 2nd guide as Loki is my 2nd most used god right behind Chronos :P.
OK. Many would ask why am I leveling my 1 so much! Well simply said; its the ability with most damage. Your next basic attack while invis will give an awesome bonus to your damage as well as adding a bleed for two seconds! Of course, upgrade your two to at least level 4 early game if your team in Joust has bad wave clear or if you are going solo lane in Conquest. Your ult does damage but not as much as your 1 and 3. In case you didn't know Loki's first basic attack in his chain of 5 does the most damage. This works amazingly in our favor since we can proc Hydras Lament all the time. The combo is 1 -> basic attack -> 3 -> basic attack -> 2(set to instant cast) -> basic attack -> ult (if enemy isn't dead already LOL) -> Basic attack.
Of course you will need to change the build according to the enemy team. I would replace Bloodforge for Brawlers beat stick if enemy has tanky healers. Stonecutting sword in place of bloodforge for better 1v1 boxing potential. In Joust if my team has exceptional wave clear I don't build transcendence, instead I take a more damaging item such as stone cutting, masamune or even shifters shield. Please note that you will be a bit mana hungry. But your dps would be insane! Someone recommended me to add The Crusher as an alternative. It is an amazing choice for split pushing which is what Loki excels at. Stone cuttings permanent extra 10 percent movement speed makes it highly viable to take.
Thanks for reading my guide! I hope it helped. Loki has so much potential. Looking at enemy cooldowns is KEY to victory with Loki. Once all stuns are on cool down, you go wreck face :P. Takes time to go in and kill without diving but it will come with time. Good luck to all future Loki players :)
Pros :
High Burst
Good Escape
Safe wave clear
Good split pusher
Cons :
Squishy
No team fight presence
Can be completely shutdown if the enemy team has a lot of cc and tanky gods
Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.

Funny enough the build hasn't really changed much in years.

You have no idea what youre talking about lool i dont agree with the TRANS or Bloodforge but the build is not bad and the advice is exactly how you should play Loki... Auto cancel and all.
Just a note on your skill levelling and explanations, I don't see a problem with joust (as long as your team has someone else with wave clear.
But for conquest solo you NEED to max your decoy first otherwise you'll be getting outcleared every minion wave and pushed under tower and outfarmed and underlevelled the entire game. Your vanish and aimed strike literally count for nothing if you can't clear wave in solo lane.
